Give up all other Religions/Faiths and follow Jesus of Nazareth

I am a disciple and follower of Jesus of Nazareth of the Bible I follow His Teachings and everything Jesus teaches us to do and how to live our lives.

I do not follow any other teachings of any other religion or faith Jesus satisfies everything I need.

Jesus teaches us to live a certain way to do certain things and not to do certain things.

Jesus was a controversial person in his days here on earth and after wards 2000 years now his teachings still provoke people.

Some of the teachings of Jesus are not politically correct.

Jesus brought us the teachings and wisdom of God He said He is the only True Messiah sent by God and his words and teachings are absolute Truth.

Jesus teaches that there is only one path to the Kingdom of God and that He is the Way the Truth and Eternal Life is from Him.

As far as the millions upon millions of people who never heard of Jesus from the time time began until now will they not enter the kingdom of God? Is God a respecter of persons and will only accept those who know Jesus? Well there was a Roman military man who did not know Jesus. He was righteous and feared God says scripture. He wanted to know if God would accept him so an angel told him to send for Peter and he would tell him what God had to say about this. Well Peter came to Cornelius' house and with all his family and all the soldiers gathered in his house Peter said: I perceive that God shows no partiality. In every nation any one who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. Got that Bernice? In every nation ANY ONE who fears God and does what is right is acceptable? (tenth chapter of acts)

What does Paul say about obtaining eternal life? God will render to every man according to his works. To those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality he will give eternal life. (Romans 2:6-7)

Just a little something to think about Bernice.

That expression "through Jesus". what do you mean by it? Is it the judaeo-christian religion's meaning of what Jesus did? Or, do you mean obey what Jesus said.

When you say YOU MUST GIVE UP ALL OTHER FAITHS RELIGIONS which is the one religion you do not have to give up? Just asking!

By the way the sermon on the mount in Matt. 5-7 seems like a teaching of the way into the Kingdom of God. Is that through Jesus or is it a teaching of the true God and His ways? Seems like a refuting of the Jewish religion who's god Jesus says is the devil. An eye for an eye sure is not from a God of mercy and forgiveness says Jesus.

And so I just wonder. Your post is great but do I detect smell of religion in your faith?

God is not a religion and in today's world, religion takes people away from God instead of bringing people closer to God. The solution to the problem therefore is simple; Give up all religions and follow God and you will be safe on the day of judgment. You don't need religion to tell you God exists and you don't need religion to tell you to fear and respect God. You don't need religion to tell you to respect and love your fellow human beings as you love yourself. These are basic/natural things every normal human being knows. I am a Muslim and I feel my religion is superior to others. I feel this way because I am a Muslim and you feel Christianity or Jesus is the only way to heaven because you are a Christian.

Adebayoa, make up your mind. When you say give up all RELIGIONS and follow God and then say I am a Muslim and I feel my RELIGION is superior to others you say one thing but practice another. I hope you know that when a person says one thing but then turns around and practices another he is what you call a hypocrite.

By the way Adebayoa, I totally agree with you. Give up all religions and follow God and you will be safe on the day of judgment. The only difference between you and me is I have done that and you still cling to your religion to make you feel superior to others the same as christians do. Would be wonderful if people would only do what they preach.
