What are your views on Intercast marriages?

My question to you is, how can some people just marry a guy or girl without knowing anyone?

The reason for asking you here is, I find it a bit weird to get married to someone without knowing the other person completely. In other words, I believe in love-marriages or at least those kind of arrange marriages that involve few years of courtship to know each other better.

I have a friend who has recently graduated in MCA, and is getting married to a guy whom she has talked on the telephone only for a week or so. I mean, how is it possible these days? Kindly help me digest that.

Well, if you are not into spending your entire life with the person, then I don't see anything wrong in given in even in the first week. But if you are looking for a real life partner to spend your entire life with, then I'll suggest you go further into discovering every single thing about this new guy of girl and this will go a long way into helping you make right choices.

I don't have any problem with intercast marriage but i think its still a big problem in India. love marriages are happening but not too many. they should allow love marriages. I think one should have freedom to choose his or her life partner
