Working Overtime - How many hours do you work per day?

I tend to work about 10 hours a day. If I had the time I would be able to do 12 hours or 11 hours per day. If I think a job is worth it I do not mind spending alot of time and working over time. I make more money that way and I am able to pay off alot more bills.

I think it is a very good idea when you have alot of bills to pay.

If I have important job or duty to carry out then I will work long hours as u mentioned 10-12 hours per day. It is a normal working hours for Asian work for 10-12 hours per day.

I agreed with you that I do mind to do long hours if I can make more income from my effort. City life is getting tough and tough. Money is important especially when u married and have growing child. All need to buy with $$$$.

I am a student, don't do work outside home, only doing some online job, or other things, I spend like 8-10 hours for it. it is getting boring for me, but I need some pocket money, cause I am to gift someone something, that's why working now

I'm a student and I work part time, and what is good about my job is I'm allowed to only work weekends.
I work on Sunday and Saturday, and I work at a grocery store.
I work from 9AM to 12AM, (Yes, legally I'm not allowed to work that long, but because I'm not working weekdays, I got around it). Which isn't bad. I get $10.50/hour, (Pretty good is you ask me) and I work 30 hours per week, which is 10.50 X 30 = $315. Not bad for a student working 2 days a week.

i don't work. i sit at home all day watching youtube, i used to work about ten hours a week, i got about 3 dollars per hour.

my husband works though, he has a normal 9 to 5 job.

Where are you from may I ask?
As in most countries, it is illegal to work for less than $8.00-ISH per hour.
If you worked for $3 dollars per hour that must have been for some private institution, or, you got scammed.
What did you do when you worked?

I am a student of engineering,so in daily routine i don't get much time for working .
So in the college days period i work for 2 hrs a day ,i do blogging and review writing .
In vacation or on holidays i work 8-10 hrs a day on my blogs and i get most of the income from the advertise(publishing) on my blogs.

There is no perfect schedule for work for me. Whenever I feel like working, honestly do the work. Some of my days go without any kind of work by me due to laziness, sleepy feeling and some days I work for hours with lots of dedication in it. I prefer to quit from working rather doing work without dedication and sincerity. That's my saying "Quit work if you are doing it without passion".

I recently got a job and i work 9:00am to 6:00pm which is 9 hours sometimes overtime but i don't always do that though.

At the moment I am working 6 hours a day and 5 times a week. There have been times like a couple of years ago, when I was working 12-14 hour days.

I am in the process of getting my house, so that means I will have to work longer to ensure I get the money to cover costs...GULP!

It also depends if you enjoy your work, my work is pretty easy and laid back at times so I don't mind working extra long hours.

I am a student. I work during the day and go school during the night and weekends. On holidays and vacations, I work around 12 hours a day but once school reopens, I work just 5 or 6 hours a day.

I have a 9am to 4pm regular job but I'm also into internet marketing and I'm on the computer almost every free second of the day. Internet marketing is great but the problem is that the income fluctuates and you need a steady job attached to make ends meet.

I just got married so to pay for the wedding after my normal 9 am - 3 pm job, I work 5-11 at minimum wage or 3 times less than I earn currently after union fees and taxes
