Which country is the best tourists destination - Singapore or Thailand?

Which do you guys think is the best tourists destination, would it be
Singapore or Thailand? I've heard that Singapore is really clean, that's cool, and has less crime rate than any place in the world. You could also walk at any time of the day and night without fear of getting mugged. But Thailand also has Phuket and the beautiful beaches, and the red light district. Which country would you want to visit?

I have no clue ... but a have heard about Singapore a bit. Thailand I'm not aware. Singapore is very peaceful place and there are more shopping spot's and the country is very clean & tidy

Yes, Singapore is a very safe country. You generally don't have to worry being robbed along the streets and its a very clean country. I'm actually a Singaporean myself and I think that its quite a nice country for families to visit. People are fluent in English, so they'll not be much problem in communication.

I've been to Thailand, namely Bangkok and Pattaya and I feel that its a nice place to go too. I'll definitely visit Thailand again when I have the chance. Bangkok is a very nice place to shop at since the stuffs there are relatively much cheaper (for me) and Pattaya was an eye-opener cause of the difference in culture.

I'd probably go to Singapore since it is, accordingly, one of the safest places inn the world.. I wouldn't want to risk my life going on a vacation to a dangerous city. They also have nice shopping centers there and, almost always, goes on sale. So, I'd get discounted and bargained products as giveaways when I get home. Since Singaporeans also speaks good English so there's no problem with getting lost and having verbal miscommunication with the people also. Although one day, I'd love to check out the beaches in Thailand also.

For me , i think these two countries are not much involved in terrorist attacks and i think both these counties are looking safer for a good travel.

and in singapore for tourists a huge lot of discounts available for affordable buying.
i think singapore is some what better in thailand.

Language is never been a concern in singapore unlike thailand.
English is spread throughout singapore country.

my opinion says it totally depends on the individual's area of interest.. if somebody is coming from west part of the world then he/she might visit thailand because singapore has the same tall building and infrastructure which western countries already have.

well, for me if its the beaches that i'm heading to, i'd choose thailand, i've seen brochures of the countries beaches and they are just totally magnificent, so beautiful. i'd love to laze on those beaches one day. but if i want to go shopping, i'd go to singapore. its really cheap there and has lots of discounts too.

i have visited both the countries-singapore and thailand and both the countries are worth seeing
the places over there, the food we get to eat and the hospitality they provide is just awesome
i had a very nice experience visiting them. would love to visit them again

Singapore would be a better place definitely. It is very clean place to visit, and is a safer place.

I am not aware of Thailand a bit but Singapore is very peaceful place for tourism. I would like to go again to singapore and would recommend everyone to visit Singapore at least once in their life, and I guarantee you will definitely like it

Thailand is the best tourists destination. Firstly it is situated in the equatorial region and it has thick rain forests. Its flora and fauna attracts large number of tourists from different parts of the world. Moreover its sea beaches and forests resorts allure the tourists.

No doubt Singapore is better tourist place than Thailand. People in Thailand doesn't show respect to the outsiders. Singapore will be more safer place for the tourists to roam freely without any danger.

I will vote for Singapore. Although i have not visited this country but had a small stay on singapore airport during my flight to Australia. It was simply impressive.

I prefer Thailand. Thailand is more beautiful and bigger than Singapore. Singapore is also beautiful but too small. You may spend three days in Singapore and I can visit anywhere you want lol. Thailand has so many places to visit and the people in Thailand is very friendly and kind. All the views in Thailand are nature instead artificial in Singapore. However, the safety in Thailand is a little worried. You always hear the bomb explosion news in the newspaper in Thailand.

Singapore is quite small.. don't have many tourist places, is much expensive.. while if you look at Thailand. it is quite bigger in size, it has lots of tourist spots.. less rushy as compared to Singapore. Thailand is quite beautiful country, with accent artifacts. Personally you will fade up from Singapore in just 3-4 days, while you can stay and feel the calm of Thailand and will like to stay their for 2-3 months.. So i prefer Thailand over Singapore.

i found Thailand to be the best tourist designation compared to singapore.it has many places to visit than Singapore.

I think India has the more attraction for tourist,,,It has the ancient buildings,temples,tombs and lots more
