Which antivirus softwares is the best one?

Symantec is the number one anti virus software although it lacks many features or to say accurately it has so many features but only one or two will work at a time.

It lacks the Virus Recovery Database.

Virus Recovery Database means it can recover the files as it is after the virus is removed from the computer which has been infected to one particular file.

It lacks cleaning of the registry what we call remnants or left overs.

Other antivirus softwares are free for home use which are far more better than the Symantec Anti Virus Softwares.

For me Avast has always been great. I think it is alot faster then others, and it does not take up as much space. It is also free, so that is another great thing. I have also used Avg in the past and I use Lavasoft or Spyware Doctor for spyware. I like to use Windows Defender becuase it does not slow up my computer, when I am running a scan. My computer has been working wonderfully for a long time, so I think I am maintaning it pretty well.

There has never been a best antivirus for me . So, admire Linux for being virus proof. You can gag around the 'net without getting any pest the moment you turn off your computer.

i'm very trust with AVIRA

also there's free edition with regularly update every day

it's so tiny and very little consume your resource of PC.

beside antivirus, you need some registry cleaner

I am Using AVG,I used McAffee and Nod 32, but They both made my PC really slow,sometime it made be hang,but in AVG it is working great,It is fast, also not making my PC slow, though most of the Anti-virus work first and then it lose it's ability to protect virus, hope my AVG will work like what it is doing now
