Question Where is a good place to look to find real work at home jobs?

I am a stay at home mom and I go to college online. My children will be going back to school in a few weeks and I would love to find a real work at home job I can do during the day while they are not home. Does anyone know a good place to start my search?

What type of job are you looking for? There are a lot of jobs you can do from home with your computer. I have a friend who works 4 hours a day for a web hosting company providing online customer service.

Whatever particular job you're looking for or whatever skill sets you may have, you can find lots of online job opportunities at Cragislist and other online jobs boards. But be careful, too. Do your research before taking the leap.

I would like to find something along the line of customer service or possibly even some freelance writing. I seem to really enjoy writing and think I could do well at it. Does Craigslist have writing jobs too?

Craigs List is a good place to start. I would also try places like ELance and other Freelance talent auction sites. Also, check into the web hosting market. You might be able to find an online customer support position there.

I have had alot of luck in finding work at various work from home forums. I am also now a moderator at a new work at home forum we just got started a few months ago. It is called Work at Home Cooperative.com. We are starting to really get things going and trying to get several more jobs added everday. A couple of other good wah forums to check out are Work Place Like Home and Work at Home Mafia. Good Luck!

That's nice to know, ladyfaith! I'm very much interested in finding other work-at-home gigs, too, and I will definitely give these forums a visit soon. Maybe later today. Good luck to BellaDC - may you find your dream job fast!

You could go to sites like Getafreelancer, Elance, and a lot more sites that don’t require you to pay for anything. Just remember that don’t pay for anything to get a job.

Wink Real Work at Home Job

Guru.com has some work from home jobs although they try to sell you a premium profile that is suppose to guarantee more work but stick with the free signup. If an employer want you they will see your talent without you paying to be on top of the other candidates.

Employers are reluctant to hire someone from home to work hourly because of the lack of trust they have in actual count of hours worked.

There is a long list in internet but finding the real opportunities are too... difficult. Because most of them are fraud sites.I'll suggest you some good sites which are genuinely providing work at home jobs.Getafreelancer.com & guru.com are providing different types of freelance works like article writing, web designing, software development, data entry etc.Register their freely & start acquiring projects.

Anothe thing you can do is to start a blog at blogger.com without any investments & write articles there & start earning from ads.

Default You could be freelancing.

There are some good freelancing sites like elance.com which have a nominal membership fee and offer real work opportunities. You could be visiting forums like forums.digitalpoint.com for more info in this area.

I like Elance, Odesk, Getafreelancer.com, Wahm.com, workplacelikehome, and the texting place. Rat race rebellion has alot of work at home jobs as well. There are alot of survey companys, that you can become a member of. There are alot of paid forums you can work on as well. I also like Textbroker if you want to write and get paid for it.
