English. I do have some Spanish CDs that I try to listen to and learn language from every now and again. I haven't mastered English (and probably) never will. I don't know how well I will do trying to learn another language. :o

I'm English. I probably should have learnt more of German and French at school but I ended up neglecting them both. I've always fancied learning Spanish because it is a pretty sexy language but I don't think I'll do that for quite a while!

I do admire people that are able to speak a number of languages, it is a mark of intelligence.

Mine would be Portuguese, but I learned English at about the same time. I also speak some Spanish. I enjoy speaking my language, meeting new people, and trying new foods. It is nice to learn new languages, new phrases, travel, and experience different countries. I grew up in the United States, so I am lucky to have gone to school here, and I picked up the language very quickly.

My native language is "Twi". Twi is an Akan language and it is the most popular native language in Ghana and some parts of Togo. In my country, we have over 46 major native languages. Nigeria which is our "sister" country has over 700 different languages.
