Re: What is your favorite weather?
I love it in winter when it's icy and sunny at the same time. When the sun is out it doesn't even feel cold even though it technically is... that's probably why I manage to keep a suntan all year round without the aid of sunbeds, even the winter sun is a top-up. In fact the sunshine in winter is nice and gentle, as opposed to an angry heat like it is all of summer.
I don't know how many others on the forum are like this, but if it's over 12C, I end up sweaty and uncomfortable if I'm physically busy doing something. Over 18C and I'm uncomfortable all day, and when the temperature reaches 30C which is can in summer, I get constant headaches and nausea. It doesn't seem to effect anyone else I know this adversely.
I've been like this for as long as I can remember, it's like my body is out of sync with the climate for some reason. At the point where I feel comfortable, that being in winter, everyone else is saying it's freezing. I used to have a job which involved working outside, and the only time I ever got cold was once when I was out all day in subzero temperatures with damp clothes (snow melted on me). As long as I stayed dry, no matter how cold it got I'd still stay warm right down to my fingertips. People find my ability to keep warm fascinating and always say that they wish they were like that... but then they don't have to put up with the reverse side, it being agonizingly hot for over half the year.
Does anyone else feel like they just don't belong in the climate they were born into?
