What horror movies do you recommend?

I think some of the best horror movies were made from the 1970's-1980's, like 'Halloween' and 'The Shining'. More recent ones I have seen are pretty good too-for instance 'Hide and Seek' and 'Descent'.

I am particularly fond of movies with a good twist ending, even B class horror films as long as they have a reasonable plot and unique ending.

I haven't watched "White Noise"-is it a ghost story? I've seen the "Omen"
and 'Jaws' but not 'Exorcist'. "Saw" was too gory for me. I like Vampire movies like 'Interview With a Vampire' and werewolves like 'The Howling'. Those movies were creepy and scary.

I loved the Saw movies! Haven't seen White Noise, but have heard excellent reviews and can hardly wait to go to the cinema!

what do you think about "Night of the Living Dead" !I've seen this movie several times & like this very much."Exorcist" is also one of the best horror movie.Watch them & enjoy.

For a small budget film, 'Night of the Living Dead' by George Romero turned out to be an excellent classic thriller. I have to agree, this film is my all time favorite horror. I've watched it many times and never get bored of it.

I am also thinking of Night of the Living Dead. As I recall that there are two version of this movie. One is from the 70’s and the other is from the 80’s or 90’s. I can’t really recall the second one.

Although, the ending does have some twist on the end.

The remake of the Night of the Living Dead wasn't up to par with the original. Now, the Dawn of the Dead remake with Sarah Polley was much better than the original. I love zombie movies.

I actually don't watch horror movies. I think I have only seen two horror movies in my life. One was when I was a kid and scared myself to death, and the other was one that wasn't really a horror movie but they classified it as one anyway.
I just don't like horror movies because I feel they are predictable.

Aside from the Zombie movies, I think that I love those movies which have vampires and werewolf on them.

I don’t like to watch local horror movies because I feel that the monster weren’t believable.

A few weeks ago my hubby and I went to see "The Strangers." The storyline was pretty good but I hated the ending. I just don't like the ones that leave you hanging at the end.

latest one i saw is Dark floor, it is good movie but not favorite one...i am still waiting for my favorite one.
