The most challenging thing you have ever done

What is the most challenging thing you've ever attempted and the most challenging thing you've ever achieved or done? There are so many challenges especially if you grew up in Africa. Even getting three square meals a day is a challenge in Africa. However, for the most challenging thing I have ever done, I will say getting a visa from the US Embassy in my country. Because of the hard living conditions in Africa, everybody wants to travel outside the continent in search for better life for him or herself and their families back home. But before you can get a visa from any embassy in my country, you need to pay huge sums of money and you need to pay connection men and women to help you get through so in most of the times, it is only the rich people who are able to travel outside the continent because it the rich who can afford to pay. After I graduated from high school, I wanted to travel outside the continent in search for better life for myself and my family back home. This idea sounded sweet to my ears but it seemed impossible because I had no money and I knew no connection man and even getting closer to the US embassy in my country, you need to pay. The amazing thing is that, I was able to work myself through. I did everything all by myself and I am very proud I did it.
