Stupid neighbors? Your neighbors driving you mad?

I just moved into a new appartment which is in a not very good constructed house with very thin walls. You hear a lot about the people next door.
The people below me are screaming and arguing every morning and I wake up two or three times because of that.
The guy next door don't seems to be home very often, but every saturday morning he wakes me up by some reggaee song to which he listens to over and over again.(crazy!?)

What about your neighbours? Are they driving you mad or are good friends?

My neighbor is more than crazy. She is always angry and she doesn't smile. One time she nearly killed my dog just because my dog and hers got into a fight. Even on halloween, the kids in my neighborhood are afraid to go to her house for treats.

That really sounds scary. A real horror house. This is what hollywood movies are made of.
We had a mean neighbour next to a playground & soccer-field we were playing at as children. At least twice a day he came to the soccer field with his big dog, told us to shut up and go home and threatened us with his dog. But we never left... we were even trying to play more noisy just to piss him off.

We had a rather 'different' man living next door to our home for a number of years and, although he was as sweet as can be and as trustworthy as they come, he sure was annoying. Being that he didn't really have any friends (which I can only gather is because of his strange demeanor) I guess he figured that our saying "hello" to him (for the first time) was, in his eyes, an open invitation to spend his every spare minute with us from that day forward. Each and everyday, regardless of what we were doing, the poor guy would do EVERYTHING possible he could think of to try and convince us to ask him to join us in our daily activities. As persistent as he was though, we rarely every actually did so. Granted, it was hard to say no because he always had such a 'pleading' quality to his requests and our hearts always went out to him but, even so, we stuck to our guns and didn't let his begging change our minds. It was quite funny because, eventually, we became so annoyed by his persistance that we would literally 'sneak out of our house' when going anywhere and then 'sneak back in' when returning home in hopes of him not spotting us, lol. Like I said, super nice guy but, wow, the way he followed us around like a puppy dog on a tight leash was more than we could bear.

I live in a flat. I think I have pretty decent neighbors. All of them are pretty helpfull and decent people, except for the people above me. They like to crank up the volume at 2-3 AM and you can hear really loud yelling and foot taping. I guess they're dancing to the music. Not really an awesome feeling when you have an important exam in the morning.

When I say crazy, I mean very crazy neighbours I've got next door. Both are very unfriendly and love shouting like people who just went crazy. The most unbearable part is the jealousy they feel and make it obvious, by complaining to their friends even to my face and then the kind of lousy friends they keep who will let the whole compound know they are around each time they visit.:p Others in the compound are friendly while some live a mind-your-business kind of life which is OK by me once they dont disturb.
