How many times do you check your email a day?

mostly i use yahoo only and also gmail
i have many accounts, 2 or 3 for orkut a/c, then for a profession work and a few others for registering on many sites. Also an account for using messenger.
nearly i check my emails thrice a day (only those in important accounts )
others i don't even open them for many days as i know those are not that important. but i like the new version of yahoo where u can use emails very easily and quickly

i check my email every 5 hours cause i got many of spamming email every day. Before this i used yahoo but cause of spamming problem now i using gmail for my email address. the important thing the theme is beautiful.

Well in the past 2 weeks I check it daily 10-15 times. Since I make money online I receive lots of emails and PM's. Most of the time I leave it open. Before that I checked it once or twice a week maybe less. I also have different emails which I check less than my main email adress.

As some of the above do, I too leave my email program open and check it several times a day (approximately every half hour). Since I do most of my work online I tend to get alot of messages so I'm constantly checking, checking and then rechecking for anything new. At this time I actually have 2,106 messages (I just checked, lol) still sitting there and, of all things, those are just the ones that I have stored in my INBOX (nevermind the slew of others I have stored in folders here, there and everywhere else...yikes!). Fortunately, of all the thousands of emails I do still have waiting for me, the majority of them are ones that I have already dealt with but I'm simply "holding onto" just in case I ever need to refer back to them someday.

I check my emails like 20 times in a day. I am just addicted. I check my inbox anytime and free or doing nothing.

Depends how the day is going. An average day about 10-20 times a day, due to most of my work being revolved around computers, and communicating with clients via computers, e-mail is the easiest, fastest, quickest way to do this, which I'm sure is the case with many other people. I personally use GMail which I feel has the best, cleanest yet advanced interface. I do have a work e-mail but I dislike their webmail and outlook, etc...

For me, it depends on my overall activity in the web. On times when i have much work to do online i am permantly logged into my email account. On a normal day i check 3-4 times a day maybe.
But i also spend a lot of times checking forum threds and social network accounts. Sometimes even more time than with email.

I open my email 3-4 times a day. I like to check my e-mails, it is also a way of communicating with your family and friends who are in other countries.
this is also the cheapest way to stay connected with them.

I would have to say I check my email at least 10 times a day. I wouldn't say I'm an email addict, however I do buy alot of things online and I usually check shipping dates and confirm my orders. I don't use email to talk to people. I think it's a waste of time when we have good programs like MSN messenger and instant messenger for that.

I check it about 10 times per day. I am waiting to hear back on some important things, and I talk to my friends alot through email. I am always online, so I make sure to check it often. I also subscribe to a few important newsletters, so those are some reasons I check my email several times a day.

Since i am an internet marketer and a content writer so i have to remain online more than 10 hours a day. you can well imagine that how many times a person who is online almost entire day can open his/her mail box?

Nowadays, email and internet is part of land surveyor life. Most the data is send by email which is more faster and cheaper. How many times, I check my email. It depends how many days I in the field. If I in the office then the first day in the morning is checking email before I start my normal routine.

Now a days I have to check more my email,cause my boy friend mail me from his office,he can't use messenger there also not face book so I am to check like 12-15 times a day
other wise there have nothing to check,though I check 1 time a day

When I didn't have an iPhone. Like, 3 times a day.
But now since I have an iPhone, more like 20-30 times a day.

I have many e-mail accounts, because like, I have 3 YouTube accounts, each one under a different e-mail, like 10 Hotmail accounts, Adsense, Telus Webmail, so like, if you go to "Accounts" on my iPhone, You'll be scrolling for a while!
On my computer I don't check it as often. 5 times a day maybe. Mostly on my iPhone now.

I always keep it open. I have lots of work related email coming in, and missing it means, well I'd starve, literally So I check it each 30 odd minutes. Anyway I doesn't even look at my personal email id. Maybe I'll check it once in a week, nothing more. Nevertheless, I hate checking mails I'd rather prefer Instant messengers or social networking sites.

I'm with ranger, email has lost a bit of its meaning with the spread of social networking sites like facebook and orkut..Its much more convenient and the integration of messaging, photos, chatting in these sites makes it a better choice for everyone..

Well, I check my emails once in 2 days, because i was inactive for many days, that's why i have lost my touch with it.

my mailbox is opened all the time. I use yahoo messenger and it alerts you when there is a new message and I check anytime I see the alert message. I am addicted. I check my emails all the time.

I check my email as many times as possible a day cos my internet is always on. So say 7 to 9 times a day! Is that crazy?

I check my emails at least 10 times a day because i work at home and i work online and email is the major form of communication between buyers and sellers online so I open my emails all the time to check especially if i have any paypal transactions awaiting.

I am not that addicted to the computer and i check my emails at most twice a day. I don't check my spam mails anyways.
