Books are friends - I love to collect many interesting books

Books are my best friends.Whenever I'm bored or have spare time,I always like to search for a book in my library,whether it's a novel or a technical or a computer book.So when I go to book fairs,I love to collect many interesting books.I particularly love history related books.

Do you've friendship with books ?

well there is no doubt that books are friends. however, books are friends only when they are nice to me. "Oliver Twist" or "Harry Potter" can be friends but i don't think books like "Modern Physics" or "Organic Chemistry Made Easy" are all that friendly.

This thread reminds me of how much I like some novels, but I haven't read one in quite a while because I'm catching up on some back-logged trade papers.

I'll have to get into a novel again soon.

i think i agree with you all. books are true friends. imagine the world without books. i cannot go a week without a good novel. anytime i go by the train, i make sure i have a good story with me. atleast i can remain indoors all day with a good story beside me.

I love reading and if I am really into a book then I find it hard to put down and do anything else LOL

I never read books, well not in the physical form anyway. If I do, it's an ebook from the internet and that's about it. The reason for it is, I either don't want to shell out the money for the book and I can easly get it online and read it on my computer. I also have one of those portalble book readers which really comes in handy when I'm not at home. Ofrourse nothing can replace fliping thru the pages of a real book.
