Would you look down on someone because they were Islamic or even looked as if they were? I know people have distorted views of the religion mainly due to bad coverage in the press...they are happy to show a front page spread of another bomb. But relegate the Islamic communities response, condemning the bombing, to a tiny caption in the back of the paper. I just wanted to get a measure of how people feel and think after years of reporting.

I am a Christian and I voted No and am proud to say so. I can understand your delima but to a varying degree. I do not believe Muslims are evil people and I have met many kind and honest people who are Muslim mostly over the internet.

However when you see the American Press covering you as evil bombers do not hold the against Christians but those individuals. Christianity in American has a big problem. Almost everyone here claims to be Christian but very few truly are. Most people cannot tell you the first thing about what it means to be a Christian but still think they are one. They believe Christianity just means they believe and God and that is literally it. A true Christian will not call all Muslims insane bomber.

Of course not and I voted no also.
I do believe that everyone is entitled to their own faith and religion should not be hindrances for peace to reign and I too hope that everybody would be labeled as one just because a few others are doing it, just like the wars in the middle east. I guess there is a need for all of us to know more about the beauty of Islam.
