Where is the Justice in Punishing us for Adam's sins?

I read it somewhere in the Bible (Deuteronomy 24:16) that Children will not be punished for the parents' sins. If so then why are we being punished for Adam's sins? If the same Bible is saying no punishment for the children due to the faults of their parents then how could such a harsh and enduring punishment as death for Adam and all his descendants possibly be just? could this be a mistake in the Bible? What do you think?

Punishment? to be send to this world is what you call punishment? No man.. God send us to this world for the test, rather than punishment. Yes that was Hazrat Adam (R.A)'s punishment that is why he sent from heaven to this earth. But we never had anything, how come we are punished while toke heaven from us (as per your perception)

Women are being punished for Eves sins. I agree there is no lesson learned there.

My religion does not believe in original sin In fact I was brought up to see the Adam & Eve story as a positive. Meaning, What a boring place Eden would be . No learning, no sexual stimulation no eating meat. The best thing in the story was the eating and leaving so mankind can start to learn and be on the path of human ness Of course the goal is not to return but to establish a world where the lion could lie with the lamb, a world of peace.
