Jesus Said Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Even as sinners Jesus still loves us. Even as sinners God still loves us and He continues to give us life and also protect us. In other words, you cannot live a day without the love of God. So if Osama Bin Laden is still alive then maybe God loves Osama and if God loves Osama then who are we to hate Osama? Does that mean we should start loving Osama? Does that mean we should forgive Osama our neighbor? If no then does that mean we can survive without the love of God? What do you think?
One of the ten commandments says Thou Shalt not kill. Does that mean thou shalt not kill at all or thou shalt not kill except the enemy?. Is it a sin to kill the enemy? One Pastor was preaching yesterday about forgiveness and he said we should pray for even our enemies so that they may change. In other words we shouldn't pray for the downfall of our enemies but rather we should pray for them so they may change. Does it make sense to pray for Osama Bin Laden after all the pains and sorrows he has caused? Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Forgive your brother so that the Lord God will forgive you your sins. Every human being is our brother and every human being is our neighbor. Osama Bin Laden is our neighbor and Osama Bin Laden is our brother. Does that mean we should Love Osama Bin Laden? Does that mean we should forgive Osama Bin Laden? or Thou shalt not kill except the enemy?
Some Chrsitians refuse to to join the army just because they don't want to kill. Some believe killing is a sin even in war because "Thou shalt not kill". Is it a sin to kill the enemy in war?
