Man kills innocent man = Sin / God does same = Love,Mercy and Grace

Do as I say and not as I do. The christian religion seems to think taking a man who is righteous and have him tortured unmercifully for hours with scourging, thorns driven into his skull, spit on, nailed to a cross and quenching his thirst with vinegar is mercy? For God so loved the world that He did what He told man not to do. For man it is a very grave sin and for God it shows His everlasting love, righteousness and forgiveness.

Jesus came to give us understanding of the true God says scripture. So to give us understanding of the true God Jesus said I will not have sacrifice for sin but mercy if you repent. So what do you think? Is it the true God of Jesus or the God of the Judaism the devil as Jesus says is their God. This also sounds like the God of the christian religion also. The God who requires killing of flesh for its blood to pay for sin. Gross??? Sickening??? TRUE LOVE????

God created everything and He alone has the power and the right to destroy everything. Although Jesus' death is similar to pagan sacrifice ( an innocent blood appeasing a wrathful god), it shows the depth of God's love towards humanity. Just imagine giving your begotten son up to be crucified just to save humanity. God could have chosen any other means rather than the innocent blood sacrifice but Jesus' death was a ransom. One perfect human life (Adam) was lost and what was needed was one perfect human life (Jesus). All men except Jesus have sinned and only Jesus' perfect life (innocent blood) could save mankind
