The Killing of Osama Illegal? Illegal assassination of Bin Laden?

At first I knew very little about Osama's death but now I am getting to know the true story behind Osama Bin Laden's death. The more I get to know the true story, the more questions flood my mind. It is Official Osama bin Laden is dead and it is also official he was killed by an American secret force (according to sources, this secret force that killed Osama Bin Laden does not exist officially in U.S constitution). It is also official Barack Obama ordered this secret force to kill Osama Bin Laden. It is also official that Osama Bin Laden was unarmed and it is official Osama Bin Laden did not use his family as a shield. Although the white house did not mention this, Pakistani officials are saying Osama's 12 year old girl watched her father being shot in the head and in the chest and her stepmother shot in the leg which is very sad.

I hate terrorism and I hate terrorists. I don't hate Osama Bin Laden as a human being because we are all the same but I hate Osama Bin Laden for being a terrorist. I am not saying Osama Bin Laden's death is heartbreaking but I do feel bad for the poor little girl who watched his unarmed father being shot dead in the head and also in the chest.

Saddam Hussein killed even more people than Osama Bin Laden just that most of those people Saddam Hussein killed were not Americans. Saddam Hussein was worse than just a terrorist and it felt good watching him pay for his crimes. Saddam Hussein was tried and executed on public TV for the whole world to see the end of the wicked. I expected the same results for Osama the son of Laden yet Osama Bin Laden was killed and his body disposed off in the deep blue sea without anybody seeing it and the worse part is that, Obama is not going to release those photos and videos about the death of Osama Bin Laden why because Obama believes releasing those photos may spark even more attacks.

Now back to the question. Was the killing of the unarmed Osama Bin Laden illegal? was Osama assassinated illegally? was it fair to shoot the unarmed Osama in the presence of a 12 year old girl-child? Is this just a make-up story for Obama to get re-elected? Is this the end of the war on terrorism?

I don't want to start another thread about this same topic so let me add it here. I saw so many Americans take to the streets waving flags, singing and dancing all because Osama Bin Laden is dead. What do you think about that reaction? Osama Bin Laden was a terrorist but does it make much sense to take to the streets jubilating because another man is dead? Terrorists jubilate anytime they kill but Americans are not terrorists so does it make much sense for Americans to take to the streets jubilating all because another man is dead? Osama's death brings much relief to so many families especially the 9/11 families but is that enough reason to take to the streets with flags, singing and dancing because another man is dead?

Dear Kofi, I think that there are many truth in your words but the argument is quite tricky as it is about thousand of deaths, worldwide fears, religion extremism, terrorism, human cruelty and much more.
What that I think is that many peaple around the world after 2001 terrorist attack needed to have a scapegoat, an objective to catch and to destroy . In that way the world seems to be better then the past. Unfortunately I don't believe that now the world is better, perhaps is good to think that it is!
It's impossible not to wonder whether is really right to be so happy for a death to justify a so big form of enthusiasm. I think it would have been better a reaction more contained.

You just fail if you think he died in 2003. Hes was hiding in Pakistan. And yes it was an illegal act because it was a politically moved assassination and I'm not surprised that very soon Barack Obama is supposed to end his turn with another election arising.
