The importance of God in your life

How much does god affect your life? I personally don't have much belief in God but I understand that he still affect my life in some way.

If you believe in God are you constantly thinking, Is this what God would want?
Am i doing right in the eyes of God?
Does this not get tiring? I live life well and aim not to harm others is this not enough? I like to think it is and if God is there he will be content with that.

I would consider myself to be particularly religious although I am theoretically a Church of England Christian. In my humble opinion, while the idea of an all powerful God who created heaven and earth may possibly be a bit dated, the “laws” and guidelines set out by Christianity – such as the Ten Commandments etc still pay an important part in my everyday life and indeed within western society in general. So, I guess that god is very important in a symbolic content even if you do not believe in a deity per se.

I wouldn’t consider myself “religious” by today’s standards. I don’t go to Church regularly, and I don’t read the Bible much. But I do consider myself a Christian and do strive to do my best each day. I don’t find myself constantly thinking “Is this what God would want” but I do find myself repenting an awful lot. I do not find it tiring at all, God saved my precious daughter from the hands of death….she was nicknamed the “miracle baby” when she was born (an atheist Dr also converted due to the miracle). I find that the least I can do is to do my best to follow His wishes by being kind to others since he has been so good to my family and me.

The importance of God in my life is very very important. without him we are nothing, He is our creator, he provides us everything we need in order to live.
If we have problems he extends his help without conditons maybe is not the way we chose it to be but at least we get help in other form in the best form we need.

God has absolutely NO importance in my life . i feel that it is more essential that we live our lives honestly and help our friends in need

I really think you should reconsider your theory about God. If it wasn't for God I don't know what my life would really be like. He guides in everything I do. all I have to do is consult him in all things, he leads us, directs our paths and helps us in our daily walk of life. How do we breath, eat and sleep - if it wasn't for God. The food that we eat - He makes provision for us. Proverbs 3 says, "trust in the Lord with your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path." That's all I have to do and he comes through for me. And above all when I die I know that I'm not going to a lost eternity, but to be with my father in heaven. Please read the bible and try and get answers for yourself. Call on Jesus and He will answer you. Give him your life today and see the good things he has in store for you.

Well , I don't like to insult others theory , but I do think that the reason you can go through and solve all these problems is no because of your god , it's because of you . Religion , to me it's something that can motivate us to do things better . Looks like you have become a better person.

Wah , don't be so depress. I had to agree with you , there is no such things as god . If there is, that will be the president of the strongest country in this world . I had to said this , there are two ways to minimize crime happen in this world or maybe make this world a better one :

1) Unite all countries together and choose only 1 leader , well USA , China and some other countries plan to do it since the birth of Earth . However , in order to achieve that, a lot of unwanted incident had happen all around the world , which cause chaos everywhere.

2) This is the perfect one , which had occur in every single animation , manga , comic and all other movies . The only reason of crime and bad things happen is because of the existence of human. No matter how good we are, there will certain where we be the bad one to others. There are uncountable numbers of criminals all around the world . Let's say I know all these name and I have a death note or even the forces of all three units ( AIR = BLEACH , LAND = NARUTO , SEA = ONE PIECE ) , if I'm able to catch every single of them and throw them into Gigantic Impale Down ( no yet kill them ), how many peoples will left in this world ? I think that number is countable . That's what bring out the idea for the author where the bad one want to end this world to save earth .

Everyone talk about earth hour here and there but I personally don't really support it . Why ?? Because I think that the reason for the rise of temperature is not because of us , is the industries . Why we as the minor one have to obey , turn off the light while the major problems still out there .

Trust me , religions fail to save every single piece of shit since it's birth. The only to become a better person is to apply moral values in ourself . Stay cool , be nice , wish you good luck .
