What are some of the importance of Buddhism you can think of?. do you think Buddhism has any impact on your life in one way or the other?. It is scientifically proven that some Buddhists practices such as meditation and maybe hypnosis have great benefits. do you like Buddhism at all?.

Buddhism is a great religion with great impact... Let's take a city like New York for example

Like many other religions in New York, Buddhism has a very significant impact on the spiritual structure of New York. Aside this, Buddhism also alters the material world of New York, introducing new sacred objects, new symbols, buildings, ritual implements, and a host of others. One major impact of Buddhism is the different way of thinking. Buddhism has a vast array of new concepts of heaven and hell, a new pantheon belief in reincarnation, and many more.
In terms of education, Buddhism is playing a very vital role in the New York curriculum. Meditation classes are offered at some CUNY colleges such as Hostos College, John Jay College and Queens College. There are also teacher training programs (TTP) which are designed for people who wish to train as authentic Dharma teachers or simply engage with Buddha’s teachings in the deepest possible manner. These meditation classes aside their religious significance have very scientific importance on the individual. For example, meditation helps one to cope with the pressures and stresses of work, develop mental clarity, concentration and focus, relate to others in a calm, caring and constructive manner, to mention but a few.
The various Buddhist temples aside introducing new forms of architecture in New York, also trains its members to be useful citizens. The New York Buddhist Church (NYBC) which is a temple jodoshinshu true pure land school Buddhism, whose head temple is Nishi-Hongwanj Temple in Kyoto, Japan has been serving New York community since 1938.
Also, the Chakrasambara Buddhist Center was established to provide people in New York area with the opportunity to learn about and practice Buddha’s teachings. To fulfill this aim, they have created a peaceful city sanctuary located on the 5th floor of a spacious loft in Chelsea. The America Burma Buddhist Association Inc in Brooklyn, The Trans World Buddhist Association, Grace Gratitude Buddhist temple and a host of others in Manhattan all throw light on this idea that Buddhism has indeed determined to make a significant impact on the New York’s structure.

Not that i am an atheist but i don't trust any religion. Buddhism is like Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Mormonism or any other religion out there. Welcome you with smiles and crucify you in hell fire. Buddhism is a great religion and i have some respect for it but I don't trust it. You are born and you will die. everything has a beginning and the end. death is the end. dead and gone. that's it! I don't believe in any reincarnation. I don't believe in any Karma.

Actually you are not quiet right. In Buddhism there is no such thing as a beginning and an end. In my perspective, Buddhism is not a religion at all it is more scientific than you think. Like the Kalpas in Buddhism, there is no beginning for life because we have a endless cycle of dieing and rebirth of the universe and whatever is beyond it. If you look deeper Buddhism doesn't believe in reincarnation. Buddhism doesn't believe in soul instead it believes in reborn of conscious. I know I am not that into Buddhism but please don't mislead other people.
