Muslims Killing Christians in Nigeria

Please pardon my ignorance if the title of this thread sounds very biased to you. It is a religious conflict so both sides kill each other. I chose this title because of an Islamic extremist group by name Boko Haram which means "western education is evil".

Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa with a population of over 150 million people. About 50% of the Nigerian population are Muslims, about 40% are Christians and the remaining 10% are Traditional worshipers.

Throughout history, there have been several clashes between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria. Muslims (mostly in the northern regions of Nigeria) are fighting to make Nigeria a total Islamic Country with Islamic Laws such as the Sharia Law. Right now in Nigeria, there is a big clash going on between an Islamic extremist group called boko haram and the rest of Nigeria targetting mostly Christians. Thousands have died since the beginning of this year.

These days there are bomb explosions almost every Sunday in Nigeria with Church buildings and Church members being the most targeted. Boko Haram claims responsibility for all the bomb explosions going on in Nigeria today.

The extremist Muslims continue to destroy police stations, hospitals, schools, church buildings, etc. in Nigeria and killing every Christian they come into contact with. They are fighting to make Sharia Law universal for all Nigerians. They don't feel bad when an innocent dies why because they believe they are killing for Allah and the holy prophet.

but i guess Islam know well what they are doing and we wont stand like sheep and wait till they butcher us
we will stand for what is right and its our right to defend ourselves

Muslims are not killers. Muslims are not terrorist, Muslims are peace keepers, we just can't jump into conclusion because a group of people have misunderstanding within there selves, either political,cultural or religious, which lead to a conflict, and we jump to conclusion and start accusing the whole world of Islam, without investigating. We take Christians as our brothers in Nigeria and all over the world,and we don't force anybody to join our religion, we only preach the word of god and our prophet (s.a.w)PEACE TO YOU ALL......

i think its something that the government should look into because its getting serious everyday but i disagree that it is Muslims killing christian,the last post election crises,thousands of Muslims were killed and lot of mosques burnt down
