Is money Evil - Can we say money is Evil?

In the real sense money is not an evil. Money is one the essentials in the life. It is one of the things which permit us to live in a good standard.But it may sometimes turnout to be an evil.
The root causes for more than 75% of the crimes happening is due to men's over enthusiasm to money. Humans are becoming more jealous and selfish because of money. Also the purpose of using money determines if it is good or evil. For example if we use money for a charitable purpose it becomes pure. But if the money is used for hiring weapons then it is an evil.
As we say every thing in this world are having it's own merits and demerits money also have them.

yes i totally agree to your quote,money is the evil...now a days money is only ruling us.this is sign of danger to our world this shouldn't be happen. i am eagerly awaiting for the situation to be turned up side down that is ,the period in which we rule.

Money becomes evil if you don't know the proper use of money. Money becomes evil if you don't cherish life. I would agree to calling a nickel or a dime a devil but I wouldn't tolerate calling $100 note, a devil.

I love money but I hate the devil. Money isn't a devil. It is what you use the money to do that makes money evil. If you use your money on prostitutes and guns then you are the one making money evil and so you are the devil.

Let me make it clear that no matter how religious one seems to be, one cannot be happy without money. that is why David in the bible said to God; do not make me to be poor lest I steal and people will dishonor you through me. So money is very necessary for people not to commit grievous crimes. If you take a good look at the society you will observe that it is for lack of money that people do lots of evil, which would not happen if they had got the money. so it is obvious that money is not evil but the desperate search of it!

God blessed King Solomon with wealth (money), power and Wisdom so money is not evil. If you don't know the proper way of using money then it becomes evil but if you know how to use money properly, money is not evil at all.

Money is evil if it is put into the wrong hands.
Money is a delight in the hands of the wise.

eg. Money is evil if put into the hands of a drug addict craving for a hit.
Money is good when put into the hands of someone willing to use it for investment, blessing others, furthering God's kingdom, paying off debt etc..

Actually, it is written the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.

That is what Jesus said.

but that doesn't mean money is evil. it means if you love money more than your soul then it becomes evil.
