Is Cremation of Dead bodies a sin?

The human population is increasing at a very high rate and there is shortage of land and hence cremation in this sense seems like a very good choice for most people but what does the bible say about cremation of dead bodies? Is is right for a christian to arrange for their bodies to be cremated? Is cremation a sin? I know from dust we came and from dust we must return but considering the shortage of land, is it OK to cremate dead bodies?

If the Bible says from dust to dust, all it trying to say is that, we are mortal beings. There is time to be born and there is time to die. In order words, there is an end to everything. Once a person dies, he or she is good for nothing except to fertilize the soil. Whether cremation or burial doesn't change the situation in any way. You are a mortal being and there is an end to your existence as a human being and that is what the bible meant by from dust to dust.
