I think that I would still choose being a Catholic since I don’t know a thing about the other religion and what practice are they doing.

I consider myself a Methodist. However, I also have the utmost respect for all other religions that others may or may not have.

If I had a choice of selecting a religion,
I would choose a NORELIGION where there are no terrorists and nothing other than A god to worship and who takes care of us.

If that will happen, I will choose to be Baptist. Through this religion, I learned that it is very important to have a close and true relationship with the Lord. The most important thing is that I got saved. This is the church explains everything about God and why we are here on earth. They are there to nourish me spiritually.

I will choose a mixture of Muslim, Christian and all other religions.
I completely agree with twinkle88's view.
If there are no religions there won't be any religions and no clashes or any thing.
There will be only one religion: GOD

I am the one who chose my religion now. Before I have the same religion with my parents but when I was in college, someone shared to me about God. Right then and there, I understand who is God.

I decided to change my religion because I find it very important to nourish my spiritual life that my previous religion can't give.

Keeper, you can choose whatever religion you want. Just because you were born a Catholic doesn't mean you have to remain a Catholic.

I'm currently thinking about not changing my entire religion but perhaps becoming more than one religion (if that makes any sense) like becoming part Christian and part Buddhist. Kind of like taking the good from everything, I feel that we have lots to learn from every religion.

I was born and baptized in Roman Catholic religion. I was not given a choice since it was my parents decision to be in that religion. However, I don't have any regrets being one in that religion. In fact, I'm happy with it and even attends the mass every Sundays.

I've always been cautious of religion. I'm honestly not one way or another. I just think it's bold to say you know who made everything ever, you know (vaguely) how he thinks, and what's going to happen to us when we die. Conversely, it gives people a sense of belonging and purpose in giant and weird world.

You always have a choice on what religion you want to follow.

Personally, I'm Buddhist. I believe in things like karma and reincarnation, but I've always respected other religions, and actually found them quite interesting to read up on. Even those who are athiest, I can see where they're coming from and respect their decisions.

Anyway, as I was saying... I think every religion has something interesting - whether it be a set of beliefs they carry or the God(s) they worship, it's nice to learn about. I don't look stuff up as much anymore, but I do whenever I get the chance to.

Since I was born I am a Christian and i don't want for nothing in this world to change my religion. Some people might think that other religions are better than their own religion but in fact they are totally wrong. Each religion is unique and has its own principles, beliefs & norms. Be happy with what you are and respect others too!

I still prefer to stay as catholic,I believed whatever religion I may have it doesn't really matter for as long as I have faith in God and that was clear.

This is a very hard question for me. I was born a Christian and have lived that way my whole life but had I never had anything forced down my throat and given a chance to be raised without it and then choose when I get older I have no idea. I would need to do a lot of research into everything. I would most likely choose one that had to do with the earth.

I was born and raised a Roman Catholic and am glad that I am. We, that is my family, have always had strong religious and spiritual beliefs in God and His power, we have been raised as God-fearing and God-loving individuals by our parents. We make God the center of everything we do and as much as possible, we follow the commandments that he made for us.

However, we have great respect other religious beliefs also. We do not discriminate people based on the religion they have for, indeed, it is their choice while Catholicism is also our choice.

There is nothing in choice of religion because everybody r born with the religion base. we r taught the same. when we grow & we feel the religion in us , some of feel religion is unwanted , some other will think it is the path way for our life. but i here in say strict on to ur religion for the sack of ur family but be a helping hand. help the need , help the poor, u can really see the love & joy in them ,,,, humanity choices there ........ assist people for their basic

Fundamentally, each and every individual is allowed to practice whichever he deems fit to follow.....There is never any obstacle in choosing a religion to follow in this modern world...

The problem arises when one starts preaching the same to others....

As is earlier said.....one hardly chooses the religion he follows....since the religion is defined for him by the one followed by his parents...right from birth...

There are very rare cases of an individual getting influenced by other religion and converting to follow the same. In poor countries though....one finds many incentives in the form of good education and money being offered to change to a certain religion..which is really very sad...

Regards,

Walker

I am happy to be an agnostic for the time being. I am not saying that I will not change my positions ever on this. As I get older and wiser(?) I may chose to join some religion or many religions. I heard some where that Christian evangelicals are giving money away to lure people to join their religion. I I am offered that, i am sure to join that religion for the money's sake. There must not be any cutting of any of my body parts as a pre condition!!

Choice of Religion doesn't make sense at all. It's with what you believe and how you live by those beliefs that saves you in the end. Religion is there to somehow guide you through life. But it is not a guarantee to give you the fullest of life, the best of existence. After all, you still have to work to get what you desire. Religion is there to give us the correct way and means to get to where we wanna go, to be what we wanna be.

have always been Jewish. And I do not intend to abandon my religion, I believe in God and I am proud to be Jewish.
I think the Muslim religion too hard, and that the Christian religion gives free hand.
I now belong to the Jewish religion, but I do what i want to do.

Ro1e.

if a am given a chance to choose a religion, to be true to my soul i would like to without any religion. religion i think is a binding on the thoughts of humans, they are made to believe things without justification. so many of them are sacrificed on the name of religion. a person belonging to one religion becomes less eligible of the love of those belonging to others, religion is root cause of unseen,in felt hatred.people don't see others as another human being but they rather take him as a man belonging to other religion. each one thinking high of his own and low of the others. owing to all this, i would prefer to be religion-less than to be with a religion.

choice of religion is to be given to young ones. For years the children have been molded into their parents religion. After all religion is the belief in the existence of a god, and the activities that are connected with the worship of them. It must be a choice of an individual to practice the one he wants to

well it's not a very easy question to answer because changing religion is like our whole identity and changing your whole set of beliefs and principles. it's like adopting a new way of living. we have to have a great knowledge of the religion and other religions as well so that we can compare and decide that which one suits us the most in our mindset. if i am personally be given a chance to change my religion, i will try being a catholic.
