Today God did not forgive at all. Today God killed a thief in Africa. The thief begged for mercy but God had no mercy at all. God went ahead and beat the thief to death. Why did God beat the thief to death? God beat the thief to death for stealing His money. God beat the thief to death for stealing money from the church's offering bowl all the time.
The thief had been doing it for quite a long time without anyone seeing him. However, today God decided to keep a very close eye on his collection bowl and caught the thief red-handed. The poor thief begged for mercy but God told him his "cup is full" and no mercy for him. God decided to beat the poor thief to death showing him no mercy.
It is not new in Africa. In Africa, he who steals, die instantly. In Africa, we do not spare thieves and killers at all. If you are caught stealing in Africa and you are not lucky, some "area boys" (street boys) will beat you to death. Although this is very extreme, it "stops" people from stealing. If you are caught sleeping with someone's wife, you are dead. If you are caught raping someone, you are dead. If you are caught molesting little kids, you are dead. We do not spare these criminals in Africa.
Today God decided to be an "area boy" for once. God decided to beat one thief to death at Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. The thief Chinedu Ugwuodo (a middle-aged man) was caught right inside the Parish Priest apartment ransacking the entire place. Unluckly for him, the chuch members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nsukka caught the thief red-handed with a huge amount of their "collection money" on him and decided to put the Bible aside for a moment. By the time they realized they were in the house of God, they had already beaten the poor thief to death.
Why didn't our loving God forgive the poor thief? Why did God beat the poor thief to death?
