From the hardcore Christian nations like Ethiopia in East Africa to the most Christian-dominant countries like Ghana in the West Africa, every country celebrates Christmas in the most special ways ever.
Christianity is the most populous religion in Africa making Christmas the most populous holiday in all of Africa. Do Muslims in Africa celebrate Christmas too? Although Christmas is not on the Islamic calendar, Muslims in Africa do respect Christmas just like Christians do in most African countries why because Christmas is the remembrance of the birth of the famous prophet “Issah” or Jesus. In other words, both Christians and Muslims celebrate Christmas in one way or the other in Africa making Christmas the best season ever in Africa. Unlike “trick or treat” which lasts for just a day (on Halloween) in most western countries, the African version of “trick or treat” lasts for 2 good months and children have all the time in the world to go get even more gifts. The African version of “trick or treating” is something more than just candy. You can get even a brand new shoe just by walking on the streets on Christmas time.
