Christianity The Biggest Scam In History

Disregarding all past comments, let's take a look at a scam. It's usually a form of persuading a person or a group of people to pursue a certain tangible or intangible item that is not real or misleading. Well, according to physics, religion, being an idea, is intangible and is a item that churches and descendants of "knowledge" taught by churches are "selling". Now some people say that it's not a scam due to the churches doing good things with money but to what extent. Back in the dark ages where everyone was scared to leave their homes, the churches still asked you for 20% of your income and donated land just to get out of the churches strategic teaching of hell. Let's compare that with a modern example, a ponzi scheme, basically they promise you happiness (let's say more money) if you send them, let's say, 20% of your Income. Now when the person thinks that the scam is legitimate, he will will tell everyone he knows, and when the same thing happens to the select people, THEY will tell everyone activating a chain reaction. Same thing happened with religion, it was genius really, but what makes me madder than anything else, is that people believed it. That is why I think religion is in fact a scam.

Well, this is an interesting thread to be discuss on. First of all, if you claim christianity to be scam, you have to deny others religion as well.

There are some reason why I agree with you opinion :

At old days ( before century ), in terms of knowledge, people at that time can never compare with us. They seldom read due to lack of school , lack of importance to study, no new , show. bla bla bla . They can be fool easily by applying some tricks on it. If Chris Angel, David Blaine and Cyril are born at that time, they probably will be on top of the position of god to be recognize until today ( they might say they saw god walking on skyline.....) . Just take a look at the history, there are zeus , son of god and all these things, yet people believe with what they saw. If you try to make other believe that you are the son of god , I think you might get yourself lock up in certain G-bay for investigation .

A lot of you have the idea where religion wouldn't be scam as it can survive for ages , well I gonna said this : it's not they choose to believe it, it's they want to believe it. Story of anime is fake as we all know, but there are some phrase which is true no matter how we denied . Aizen did said before :

It's so true that I have to believe in these theories. Former President of USA did said before : A country can never survive without religion ." , he did know that moral values alone can never save his country . But it doesn't means that he believe in god, he want to use it to make( fool) his fellow people not to do bad things , or rather minimize the problems and crime in his country. The cold truth is , religions did save a lot of human lives by minimize crimes happen in this world . I can never imagine what will happen to this world without religion . It's a good things we follow the moral values, even though we all know it's fake , as long as we don't follow it blindly . If someone choose to believe it blindly, than I have to say that a 5 years old child equip with moral values can be a better person than the fellow one , Thank you .

I think the word "GOD" is important to some but they really don't know what has happened in history.

For example, Why where there so many gods thousand's of years ago?,

why where the pagan gods false, because they said they didn't exist, but no one knows,

i KNOW god didn't exist but Jesus did but he was a human like any other,

3 centuries later a roman emperor called Constantine wrote the bible and called for a meeting with Christians,

the meeting was called "council of nicea" where they voted on all things from the date for easter, Christmas and the immortality of Jesus.

before the meeting Jesus was a jew and a mortal man but after he was like a god because they made him so and now he has been dead for more than 2000 years.

and to you that still believe he exist why has he not stopped all bad things in the world like the two world wars, because HE DOESN'T exist. the only thing i respect about jesus is the ten commandments, which some is against human nature. Read some more history which is really important.


I have got all of this information from Dan Browns book and movie the da vinci code and all information there is/was true.

I think it would be a better world to live in if EVERYONE forgets about religion, because people have been murdered and killed. For example that the knights templar said that they fight in the name of god, their "god" doesn't want anyone dead at all.

I'm greatly dissapointed with all those who say Christainity is a Scam
ooh yes I am There can never be a house without an owner even if you don't belive in christiannity there must be a suprem being who created us all or do you think human just appered from no way or better still do you agree with the scientis theories of human evulution without any prove come to think of it even if the bible was wriiten by historains as you claim who are more interlligent than we are are the principal not better off Yes we have never seen God or hear him speak to us in person but that is even the more reason we have to keep hoping for if we see God of what help will the hoping be for If the Bible can say there is death and and we have all seen people dieing which means there is a great probability of the rest of the Bible story to be true. According to history, people have been killed for these things, like killing women in middle ages for being witches, but there wasn't any witches. The priests in that time had very much power, and therefore ordered soldiers to capture and burn them, but many of the women were freethinkers and was a threat to the church so they hunted them down and killed them.
By the way Jesus was a ordinary human who was living like we live now he had a job as a carpenter, and he had a wife called Mary Magdalene. The scientists were not so common in the middle ages because many of them was in the Illuminati, like Galileo Galilei who discovered that there is no heaven above the sky, there is space which have many new things that he discovered, but the church didn't like that at all so they tried to destroy every copy of his book that kept the real truth from the people.

P.S The human didn't just come tho the earth just like that, there was evolution from the monkey's who existed 5 millions years ago(NOT the monkeys that lives today) and kept on through evolution to the Homo Sapiens we ALL are today.

What you decide to do every day(every choice you do) decides if you are a good person or a bad person. That has nothing to do with religion it's how you treat people every day that counts.

If the Christian religion is a true religion "Why the hell dose it need an everchangeing written book of stories to sell?" This religion had almost wipedout one liniage of my family and has religiously split other lines. If a religion is FORCED on one from their begining, than it is a FORCE, not WELCOMED, brainwash of what one wants to hear and has questions that are never answered. Many religions have been around for more than the existance of Christianity, it is that Christianity hides its evil spirit by painting the most beautiful pictures of life and scams them all that follow the stories. Christianity also resorts to violance and confinement when people just do not want to follow it, which makes is not only a scam and a cult but a terrorist organization, that has proven itself in history. The only reason that Christians do, what they beleave is good, is to sell/scam their way into haveing more followers and make more profit. The weak follow and do not ask questions. God exists. there is no doubt about that but what if Jesus and the father are not one? that means all Christians are doomed.

You can't say God exist. THE ROMANS DID WRITE THE BIBLE FIRST, the true cross that christians call it, it comes from the cross that thousands of people where crucified by romans which later became a symbol of christianity. So no one can confirm that GOD TRULY exists.

If you want to change the way people view religion, you should learn to argue without bias.
All christianity comes down to faith, if you think faith is a scam then let it be. As for the money making, manipulation and other issues you seem to have with the religion I honestly believe they are the least of problems. At least some of the money goes towards missionary work and helping the poor. I agree more of it should, but at least its not funding a MAFIA or world war 3 to say the least...


You know what the biggest problem of religion is? Ignorance. It teaches people to be close minded, every religion teaches that all of the other religions are wrong (a part form buddhism which accepts we all take our own path to enlightenment).

I'm not ignorance, i care about the world and everything that live in it.
I have believe in Faith too but, not God who said that he created the earth and everything living creature in it in just a week. Besides it were wrote by romans and in that time the romans tried to take over the world. I have faith in the humans not in god, the humans have lived for about 12.000 years, the humans have created ALL gods. They didn't create us, we created them.
I also think it is very good to helping the poor and homeless, but almost every human don't think that is important, i do but the people that doesn't care all about having money and power to themselves, they don't care that much about others and that is very wrong, as long as they have power and money they are happy and don't care about others, but we are humans we should help those in need, not talking about doing it, but i don't have ANY power or much money, because i'm unemployed.

Everyone should do what they can to help others in the world we live in as much as we can.

Christianity a Scam? Last time I heard it is a religion. A religion where it's god has a good innocent man unmerciful;y tortured to death to pay the price of a law he made so that he can love rotted evil men and take them to heaven with him. What a ugly religion, I must say.

There are many religions in the world but Christianity is the one true religion. Buddha didn't rise from the dead, nor did Confucius or Zoroaster. Muhammad didn't fulfill detailed prophecy. Alexander the Great didn't raise the dead or heal the sick. Jesus fulfilled all prophecies. Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead. Above all, Jesus rose up from the dead.
Christians follow Jesus Christ. Christianity is not just a religion; it is a relationship with God. It is a trusting in Jesus and what He did on the cross (1 Cor. 15:1-4), not on what you can do for yourself (Ephesians 2:8-9). believe in Jesus because Jesus alone is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIGHT.

Buah - How can Christianity be excused for Islam as a scam? Just as the author fails in his terrible respesentation of christianity as scam does not qualify you to throw the bat at Islam - a religion safe your hatred you know nothing about.! Of course there are so many bad things done in the name of religion and these include all religions ( Judiasm, Christianity, Islam, Budism, etc.), just as there are terrible things done in the name of materilism/secluarism, but for the author to make the wild swipe against christianity, and you against Islam as scam is falacious at worst and deceptive at best.

One would have thought that you would deal with the substantive issue as raised in the article and refute the fraud presented as fact in the article, but not blindly through brickbat at other faith. In that case you are no worse than the author.

On the question of Christianity being a scam, the author fails to present us with hard facts rather than uninformed opinion. I don't know how he could argue that Jesus had a bad intent and purpose for the world since he (Jesus) is the author of christianity -that is the prouncement and practice of worship of One God through the examples of Jesus Christ! Was Jesus' conduct and deportment, during his earthly surgeon, any close to being deceptive? This is what the author needs to prove otherwise he himself is a scam artist.!
