Re: Why is the UN angry that North Korea is doing nuclear testing?
I agree that every country has the right to a military force to enable it to defend itself. However, I do not believe that nuclear weapons are needed for a country to defend itself.
Consider the fact that North Korea is in cahoots with Iran, and both of these countries hate the Jews. The Iranian president vowed to 'wipe Israel off the map'. For this reason I argue that in order to prevent nuclear weapons being used against Israel (or any number of non-Muslim targets such as India), Islamic governments should be automatically banned from doing any form of nuclear testing, the ban only being lifted when those countries embrace secular democracy. There would be too much of a heavy price to pay to allow Islamic hatemongers get their hands on weapons of mass destruction. I have already outlined in another thread (see religion and faith forum> thread title: Is Islam a crazy religion?) what the Koran has to say about fighting infidels.
Nukes in the hands of a Muslim government would NOT be just sitting there acting as a deterrant as they are in western nations, they would be used to commit acts of genocide. It's better to offend these countries than to appease them and watch millions perish.
