And will he ever be found? I see in the news that it is thought that he is in Pakistan and is being protected by the Pakistani government. It seems to be a very complex situation as Al Qaeda is re-constituting themselves in Pakistan -- bad news, since Pakistan seems to be so unstable AND possesses nuclear weapons, this is where I see the 'war on terror' moving in future years.

Where is India in all of this, aren't they enemies or am I making a silly school girl mistake? It seems they would be doing more to keep this from happening or maybe they are...?

He is definitely with his buddies in Pakistan. The only person who do not know that is George Bush. The rest every one in the whole world knows that Osama Bin Laden is in his air conditioned cave in Pakistan. ISI, the Pakistani Intelligence Agency was his buddy for a long time now.

yeah, where is osama bin laden? it seems that he hasn't been found and tried for the atrocities or various terroristic acts that he has instigated. even with the superpower that America is and with all their technologies and satellites, they haven't found and nailed this fellow, who is the cause of so much suffering from innocent people or civilians. they need to let him suffer the same fate as what the victims have suffered. he should know how it feels to lost a loved one.

Just remember 7 years back when he killed thousands of people.. sad that they cant catch the murder for this long.

I believe that he is probably been kept out of sight by fellow fanatical murderers. For all we know he could be in any Islamic country dressed in a Burkha so as to avoid detection. I think that the most probably locations would be:

1. Saudi Arabia - His family might have publicly condemned his actions, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one or two family members willing to assist him either in the form of harbouring him as a fugitive, or giving him financial assistance.
2. Pakistan - This country is a likely location, given that it shares a border with Afghanistan and it would have been quite easy for him to cross that border. He likely has allies there who would assist him in remaining undetected. If those protectors are members of the Pakistani Government, there is the potential for this terrorist to have access to a nuclear arsenal... quite frankly this is scary.
3. Iran - He could be hidden by the Iranian government. This could work on the principle of 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. Both Al-Quaida and the Iranian government share the common enemies of Israel and the West. If Iran becomes a nuclear power, then this option is just as frightening as the possibility of him being in cahoots with the Pakistani government.
4. Syria - Syria is Irans puppet. If Bin Laden cannot be safe in Iran, he might well be hidden in Syria.
5. Afghanistan - What if he actually never left Afghanistan and has remained hidden by wearing a Burkha... he could walk around freely and nobody would notice him.

Then there is another possibility: He might be dead.
I did read somewhere that he had kidney problems, but this appeared to be more speculation and rumor than confirmed fact.
There is also the possibility that he could have been killed, perhaps even by his own henchmen who wanted to seize power.

Even so, it is internationally embarassing that the Coilition Forces have been unable to ascertain the location of this monster and should he still be alive bring him to justice. I sometimes wonder if he will ever be found.

I am sure that he is dead. I think his name is being used to pave the paths of so called fight against terrorism in Pakistan. The terrorism drama is a brilliant planning of great powers who want to get hold of all oil and water resources of these countries.Just to launch their soliders in these countries, America is fighting against "self created terrorism" in these regions. Wow they are successful today to make it look like original.

he is not dead and they won't kill him cause he's being alive and "active" serves as a pretext to raise funds for the so-called war against terrorists he was created by Americans themselves now they use it whenever they exploit some country resources say for example if they discover new oil fields in Bangladesh they would say Osama had fled to it or try to fabricate something like a group related to Alquaeda

please world is tired of those lies
