Default Obama stepping in as President - Obama any different than others?

So how does everyone feel about Obama stepping in as President?
Did you vote for him, why or why not ?
Even if you aren't American, who would you have voted for if you had the choice ?
Do you think he lies ?
I honestly don't see how Obama is any different than any other politicial, but maybe it's just me...

I think Obama will do a good job at being president. Most people agree that he was the best choice by far and I agree as well. America has had a lot of terrible presidents like Bush too many times. I think everyone is thinking that Obama will change things forever, but I don't think he alone will do this. Sure, he will probably be a good president, there is no doubt about that, but America is facing problems that will take a lot of time to fix.

I feel happy that he became the president, well i AM not sure if he lies or not but whenever he speaks he is so confident about himself so i don't think he lies and if i had a chance i would definitely vote for him, because his speech always gave me a positive message

Obama is no different. He is already breaking campaign promises.

He had promised honesty and transparency yet the most important and costly legislation to date was crammed on us. He stressed that the bill was urgent and needed to be signed right away. Congress did not even read the bill, there was no way they did there was not enough time. It was not published on the web and allowed a 5 day waiting period as Obama promised would happen.

But for something that was SOOOO urgent it sat on his desk over a long weekend while he went to Camp David. If it wasn't going to be signed right away why not give us time to read it???

Because it was stuffed with non-essential pork barrel spending - another thing he promised wouldn't happen!!!

Ron Paul needs to run against him in 2012, maybe then people will truly understand what he was talking about during the campaign!

I think Obama has many things on his plate. Some people would try to conquer a few, He really is looking to solve many of them at the same time. A big undertaking. I think he might be frustrated with how there's problems that need solutions, and solutions need thinking and will and sacrafice, but that people have to be forced into doing things. I don't think he lies, I do think he is serious about his promises that he makes, that he doesn't want to break them. What I do think is going on with him is that perhaps he sees a certain way to do things, a way that others don't like, that he thinks will make the world a better place.

Personally, I disagreed with Ron Paul on some things, but I really do respect him, even though I voted democrat. Unfortunately, in eight years, I'm being optimistic, Ron Paul, who would already be older than any President would be over 80. Perhaps I'd still elect him into office still...

I think he'll do a good job. He's extraordinary motivated due to the fact that he, actualy is a historic president of the united states because he's the first black president. He may become an icon of the black movement for equality of treatment. He is the living evidence that this movement succeded. I think he knows that and will do his best not to ruin that.
