Mature video games poison young gamers

What do you think of mature video games? There is already a wide library of M-rated games full of violence, alcohol, drugs and other bad stuff.

Some can still be considered 'okay' or acceptable. But some can poison young gamers' mind. Despite being rated M, a lot of kids still play these games since they can get it easily. And parents just let them.

Actually, I do think it can cause problems. Not that I think someone will play a violent video game and then go out a shoot up their school. But I do think that highly arousing or violent content at a young age can effect the way a person's mind develops, much the same way that drug use does.

Violent games are made because they are demanded from the very young generation we are talking about. it might sound stupid but its true. What you demand is made to earn the best profit. Just my 2 cents.

I'd argue television is worse for them. At least with a video game they are using their brain to interact with something. With television you just sit idly.

That's true. It's because game developers get good response from gamers by selling violent games. Just take the Grand Theft Auto series for example. Almost every gamer knows GTA. GTA also has a bunch of other negative stuff like strip clubs and prostitutes. Violent generation of gamers...

At least kids can only watch the television. In games on the other hand they control their characters to do the violence.

no, they don't. As said they are demanded by the young era.
moreover its up to the person playing the game how seriously he is involved in the game and does he take up it on his life also.
