Legalization of Gay Marriage Around the World

I support the idea that gay people are sick people. being a gay isn't normal and I don't see why people are tolerating such stupid and uncultured acts. gay people are not mentally sound and people should not tolerate things like that in our society

I don't see Rangers point of view at all or the unregistered at the end. Calling gay people idiots and sick only shows your own ignorance and sick views. All humans are not the same. There are variations like in the animal kindom from which we are apart. There are gay animals too did you know that? Do you see animals attacking them or being as rabidly hostile as you are? No.
Unfortunately religion has a part to play in this hostility and elitism of these views. And religion is meant to be the most tolerable and loving doctrine. Where? I'm sorry all i ever see is elitist, ignorant, and narrow minded attitudes from these people. Sad.

Homosexuals are definitely NOT sick in any way shape or form. My best friend is gay, and he's just as sane as I am and everyone else I know! Some people are just intolerant and hateful and I wish they would just get a grip because their hate ends up infringing on other peoples rights to choose their own partner.

Human sexuality is very diverse, there is no 'one size fits all', some people feel happy and fine in a 'normal' relationship, but just because that is the most common mode of sexual preference does not mean it applies to everyone.

I am disgusted with people who are using their religion as an excuse to spread hate of other peoples sexual preferences. I can't find Jesus even MENTIONING homosexuality in my Bible, and I've read all 4 gospels... perhaps that is because homosexuality is a NON-ISSUE. If it was such an affront to God, surely Jesus would have said SOMETHING on the issue.

Also nobody should have their liberty infringed on because of religion... ones religious beliefs are a personal thing. Yes, Christians are supposed to be spreading the Gospel.... we AREN'T supposed to be denying people their choices in life because God gives us the choice to accept Christianity or not. God therefore gives people OTHER choices too... such as the right to choose our own sexual partners.

Christians who are spreading hatred are not following their own faith because the Bible actually says 'just not lest ye be judged'.

I think yes, but there should be also other rules, like ban on 'gay rape' ban on 'gay harrassment' etc.

Gay marriage is not Crime, but it must be prohibited. According to me, its biggest sin to nature. I agree that, animals do homo sex, it doesn't have six sense. Even with six sense, if people like to live as animal, gay marriages are welcome.

Gay marriage is not a crime but it is morally very wrong. Anything that goes against the moral standards of a community is bad so gay marriage can never be right. People who support gay marriage are mostly atheists and they do so not because gay marriage is right but they do so in order to oppose religious views not moral views.

It might be morally wrong, but who decides what is morally right and what is morally wrong? Correct me if I myself am wrong, but from your post it seems that you mean religious leaders have the right to make that choice.

I am neither for or aganist gay marriage, but at the same time I don't have anything against people who are homosexual and want to get married. I would rather everyone be heterosexual, but I accept the fact that some are not and I have nothing against them. If they happen to get married, so be it.

I say make it legal everywhere in the US, we say "land of the free" well then lets live up to it. And whoever said that religion became a part of what's right and what's, I don't believe in god myself, but if we are his children then isn't he supposed to love us no matter what isn't that what regular parents do? I think people should be able to decide themselves who and where they take their marriage, not everyone else.

I totally agree with you; if two people love each other, they should have the right to be joined together for the rest of their lives. I say joined, because marriage, as dictated by the bible, is meant to be the union between a man and a woman. If only the churches of the world (because lot's of Gay's are part of some religion) would create a ceremony in which two people of the same sex would be able to be joined together in a union that is basically the same as marriage, but used exclusively to describe the union between two people of the same sex. God (or whatever you want to call Him, Her, It), loves everyone, regardless what their sexual attraction is.
To the people that are calling homosexuals inhuman; behind every person is a story, and you should listen to that story before you judge that particular person. Love is love, and everybody should just accept that fact and stop stressing over the details.

The definition of marriage has changed considerably throughout history. Once married, women used to become the chattel of men and interracial marriage was once illegal. Also, marriage has a different implication for everyone. It does not necessarily mean one wants to start a family. By your definition, women who are barren should not be allowed to marry since they cannot produce a family. There are tonnes of married couples who choose not to have children.

By the way, you say you have nothing against gays, but you really do. You want to prevent them from getting married, and limit their rights because it's making them 'loose.' Such phrases like 'no offense' and 'I have nothing against ___ but,' are total copouts used to thinly cover up all bigotry. At least own up to it.

Legalization of homosexual marriage is giving individuals a right. If you're against it in the religious aspect, you are NOT giving people the freedom they want because u are holding them on a leash because of your religion that they might not share. I live in the USA and we are given the right to have whatever religion you want. That is the building block of America: to have freedom of religion. Homosexuals should be given the right to marry their partners because the fact that man and woman should be together is part of a religious view to many people. That's my way of thinking of it.

I think gay marriage should be legal because if two people love each other they should be able to express it and get married just as other straight couples. It is not fair for them, I am not gay but I support everyone's rights.
