lack of clean drinking water in the world

I wonder why there are still so many people without clean drinking water in the world, and due to this there are 2.5 million deaths each year due to water borne diseases.

I am agree with you that lack of clean drinking water causes water borne diseases like Typhoid fever and Cholera and even death can cause. Because they do not have the resources to access clean drinking water. I had read somewhere that in some areas of Africa, there is huge water crises. They do not have resources to earn safe drinking water. They need to travel long distances for water.
