Is Nigeria anywhere close to vision 2020

Most times I continue to wonder if Nigeria will in any way achieve its visioin 2020. Not just that the time range is short, there is no enabling environment for such a staggering vision to be achieved. We have a government that is not all pure, looting of public fund is the order of the day. , corruption is Nigeria's second name.I don't know if I'm the only one that wonders. Someone please say something about this. Can Nigeria actually achieve vision 2020, I mean be like China, Japan, the UK, the USA, and other great countries.

To be frank with you, that seems almost impossible. I am an African and I'm talking from experience. Nigeria's population growth rate is so alarming and if the population growth rate continues like this, then I doubt the vision 2020. No matter the resources available, if the population growth rate is high, it is almost impossible to develop. Consider Ghana for example. Ghana is a small and developing country but the good thing about Ghana is that the population growth rate has been stable over the years which gives way for development. Nigeria on the other hand is the most populous country on the continent yet the population growth rate continues increasing which implies in one word, a "disaster"
