India In Pain - MUMBAI under TERROR Attack

Mumbai (Bombay) again has been attacked with a series of blasts and peoples being kept hostages and even hospitals were not spared....
A group named Deccan Mujaheddin or something claims to be responsible for this.... Does the city deserve another blow so soon since its hardly recovered from the series of blasts that occured sometime back in the local trains..... Also what effect would it have on the tourism industry and the hospitality industry as well... since they were the prime venues of attack like the TAJ, OBERAI, TRIDENT.....
wont this see a huge dip in the num of the tourists visiting and opting to stay at these luxury hotels........

According to reports, One of the gunmen was smiling while spraying bullets at innocent people including little children but thanks God the last of those criminals was caught. From the interview with the criminal, Pakistani government played a major part in this bloodshed. Thanks be to God the Indian soldiers are in control and everything seems to be okay now but the questions still remain. Why India? and why should Pakistan?

There is seriously no chance in denying that this time the pakistani government is not involved if they were sure that they had nothing to do with it then they could have sent their ISI chief to india... the cowards didn't do that for the sole reason that they knew it was their fault............

before keeping Pakistan on wrong footing i think we have some issues to be sorted and some justifications to be made by people taking charge of our national security. how could it be possible to enter and administer such massive plans inside such well reputes sites. you see it was not an act which was done in moments but it was backed by a chain of incidences and a long planning. i think intelligence in a country like ours is capable enough to site an stop such preparations provided they are not stopped by politicians and mislead by their selfish motives..

Yes i think #4 has got it correct that we have some issues to be sorted out in our political system ourselves. But the least thing we can do as citizens is take a little bit more interest in politics ie know our leaders well. Today only10% of the youth (agegroup between 18 and 25) vote in elections. We should follow politics at least through the media and vote the leader who we think can do the job well so that such an crisis can be avoided in the future.

India is quite a dangerous place right now. Poverty levels have gone way higher and the crime rates have also. Something needs to be done there quickly. Hopefully their government can sort it out!

well as the past records of Indian tourism shows, the influx of tourists here is relatively very less elastic in relation to the terror attacks. as we have witnessed in the case of Kashmir, there have been so many mis-happenings there but there is actually an increase in the number of tourists out there. but definitely the wide spread mishap in a mumbai will and it's aftermath at least for some time.
