Illegal Immigrants Should be given Work Permits

In my opinion, it is better to prevent the person from entering the country illegally than to deny the illegal immigrant the right to work in the country once they are in the country because the person has to feed himself and his family and it is wrong in my opinion to deny the person the right to work because of their immigration status. Once the person is in the country, he or she has to work. If you deny them the right to work and pay taxes legally because of their immigration status, the person will find an illegal means to survive. It is better for the government to give illegal immigrants permits to work and pay taxes (even though they entered the country illegally) than to force the illegal immigrant to do something illegal in order to survive. What are your views on this?

I personally think that immigration laws are tools that wealthy countries use to maintain their advantage over the rest of the world. If there were no immigration laws, I think the wealth of nations would even out, and we would have a more united, caring, and peaceful Earth.

You are right. You see it is very easy to travel from a rich country to another rich country than it is to travel from a poor country to a rich country. It is also very easy for a person to travel from a rich country to a poor country but it is very very difficult to travel from a poor country to a rich country which is very unfair. If an American wants to go to Africa for example, he or she needs not go through any immigration process. They just get their passports and get on the plane and off they go to Africa but if an African wants to come to America, the shortest possible time is around 6 months unless the person is a very important personality in Africa or the person is already an American citizen or permanent resident. It took me about 5 good years to get a visa to come to America. Every 2 months or so I had to go to the immigration department in my country to fill forms and do medicals and then they would tell me to go and come back in about 5 months time. For every 1000 people who apply for visas in my country only about less than 50 people get visas. The rest continue going and coming until they give up. Not just in Africa. The same problem in India, In Mexico, and in other poor countries which is very unfair. Because of the long immigration process that is why most Mexicans come to America illegally because if you want to come to America legally it is going to take you more than a year to get visa unless you are a very important personality and in most cases people wait and wait for nothing because they don't get visas after long years of waiting which is very unfair. We are all human beings. We came to meet people in this world and we are going to leave people behind. This world is not for anybody. We are all strangers. We are all immigrants in this world. We all have hearts and we all have feelings and it very painful when people treat you as if you are garbage just because you are an immigrant in a country.

I support the idea that illegal immigrants must be given work permits. However, I don't think it would do any good by removing immigration laws. Removing immigration laws would just worsen things or mess everything up. Some countries must be superior to others. That is how nature works.
