Do you like President Barack Obama?

So far I think that President-Elect Barrack Obama will make a good president. He's read up on all of the great presidents in a time of crisis - President Abraham Lincoln with the Civil War and President Franklin Delano Roosevelt with the Great Depression - and is starting to do the right things, such as making his Cabinet bi-partisan rather than only Democrats, which would segment the American people.

I also think that his humble beginnings - single mom, experimented with drugs, etc - help humanize him to the American public. I, for one, welcome a President who knows what we, normal people, went through and knows how to make it to the top.

I can't say, at the moment, if I like President-elect Obama or not. I'd wait for the time when he is already sitting in the oval office and able to do whatever he promised to the people. I hope he will be able to live to our expectations and help the economy recover badly. Since he's not sitting as president yet, he should think of ways to save the deteriorating economy.

I do think he will be a good president, but then that is the whole point, they are supposed to LOOK like a good president otherwise people won't vote.

We will have to wait and see really, he could turn out to be a bad as the recent few. Lets just hope that if he is good he lasts long enough to something.

Yes, I do. I like dreamers and Obama is a dreamer. I like changes, of course to things that need to be changed and I found the same spirit in him. Obama seems to be more polite and more confident at the same time. He seems to understand what people needs. It is understandable from his slogan - "the change we need". He seems to smart enough for this century. The use of technology in his campaign proves that. For this time being there is nothing to dislike in him.

I like president Barack Obama very much. I think he will definitely make many changes when he will lead America, and I know they will be good changes for the progress of America.

I hope Barack won't give importance to wars with Iran and other useless things, but I think he will lead to America's progress. The other thing I like about him is that he does believe in youth power. So I just voted him yes

The above quote just shows us how considerate he is of all the sections of society. This really made me appreciate him a lot more. This move from a man of his stature is sure to ruffle a few feathers with the irrational conservative crowd.

President Bush gave his farewell address last Thursday and Obama is ready to take office come Jan 20, 2009. That is just few hours to come and Obama becomes the first black President of the United States of America. I think We can begin referring to Mr Barack Obama, as the new "Mr. President" History has been made and America is moving forward.

Records show that Obama's inauguration will be the most expensive and the most costly in the US history which isn't surprising at all considering the money spent during the campaign season. The inauguration is just few hours to come but everything is set already...just hope things go well

Barack Obama is a good father and a good husband. He is also a good politician but as for being the president of the United States, I am not that sure. I personally don't think He is ready for the job ahead. The job is really tough and we are in hard times. Well, "yes we can" but everything is possible. Let's wait and see. I will be tracking his every step and I will keeping you up to date. I will be posting here his every move. As I said earlier on, it is too early to judge but let's wait and see

I was torn in between yesterday but today I can say I for sure I love the Obama's especially Michelle Obama. She is so beautiful! President Obama is an icon of hope and peace and I love peace more than anything else. Little Sasha is just mmmmmm!

of course, Barack obama will be a great president for united states of America. There are many reasons for this:
I like the way he reached out to people, he knows exactly what people need and the way he should satisfy them. He is well determined and straight forward and he is also clear about global peace and fight against terrorism but the biggest problem he might face is Recession, this problem might test his abilities.

I don't know much about President Barack Obama as i am not from USA. But i heard he is an awesome guy who helped lots of people and one of the most famous man after J.Bush. well personally i like him and appreciate his job.

Yes i do like Obama there are many reasons for this, First he is a good speaker.. on the day of inaugration he gave a big speech without reading a single line and there was no way he could learn all that.. Plus he is thinking for all class .. not only high class.. although i am not from america but i like obama

I like president Obama but I don't know for sure if He will be all that a good president as we think. After his first 100 days in office, I don't see any progress even with his economic package.

I believe in President Obama, and although I do think he will be unable to perform all of what he promised, he will deliver a good chunk of it. I do believe that he will be a good president, and although some people believe that he is yet to deliver his promises, give him time and he'll be a great president.

From what I have seen from Barack Obama so far, yes, I can only say that I do like him. By all means, I'm from Canada so some may see this question as less of an issue for me than they may see it for someone else but, either way, I am more than happy with Obama at this time and I hope my feelings about him continue long into the future. Do I think he'll be able to deliver everything he's promised? No, probably not, but then again, very few do so it's to be expected. As long as he tries his best to follow through with what he says, stays open and honest, shows respect for all and provides good leadership, well, then I say.....more power to him.

With me being in majority of the poll voters, I do also think that yes, I like Obama. Why? The reason is clear and simple. He is new and good, he has brought about a nice change and is known for bringing a change. He is striking hard to fight with recession and what more, he always brings up the morale when it comes to hearing his long, motivating speeches.

About a week ago, John McCain congratulated Barack Obama for a good job done! According to John McCain, Barack Obama is doing great so far. In other words, "So Far So good". I think Barack Obama is doing all that he can to fix the economy. All he needs right now is time

In my opinion Obama is being given a couple years.
Basically, to show if he can really change the economy, and get it back up.
If nothing really goes on that changes the economy in the next couple of years, he's not going to last long.
I have faith in him though, he can do it, and he has many great views upon things, and knows what he's doing.
He's a smart man, although his VP isn't (Biden) but he makes the ultimate decision.

I love President Barack Obama. It made the history and if all is well it will leave like legend. I observed the majority of his speeches and the discussion and satisfies my personal standards to him of which good president.
