Can the West save Africa - Can foreign aids help save Africa?

When it comes to helping Africa, what comes to mind almost all the time is to send more financial aids to Africa. What comes to mind is to send more foreign aids and may be to donate to charity organizations and so on. When it comes to helping Africa, The United States of America always think of sending more money to Africa and forgiving African countries their debts. United Kingdom sends millions and millions of dollars to Africa and so are the other major donors. But the question is this; Do you think that the West Can save Africa? do you think that America can save Africa by sending billions of dollars to Africa every year? Do you think that the United Kingdom can save Africa by sending billions every year? What do you think? Can the Western countries like America save Africa?

Many of the Western countries have rushed in to help Africa but the truth is that many of these countries don't know exactly how to help Africa. Why should America keep on pouring money into countries that are destroying their own people? why should the West rush in to save Africa when Africans are far from salvation? Should you waist money on theoretical things that never benefits practically?

Why do people care so much about Africa? There is enough problems going on in our own countries let alone africa, heck I couldn't care less about african children they are not going to have much off a future anyway so why bother? The money spent on them should be used instead on children suffering in our own country and developing the country further.

offcourse the West can help Africa by sending financial aids to Africa. However, as to the idea of "saving" Africa, it is very far from that because the western countries don't even know how go save themselves. Look at what is happening now. Credit crunch!
