brain drain is really affecting asian countries at the moment. there are a lot of intelligent and good doctors and other professionals that migrated to developed countries due to really low pay in their own countries of origin. it is a pity to the countries affected because the remaining workforce will not be able to supply the demand of the community.

It's definitely a huge concern
The best brains in India are moving out of India as the odds of getting the same pay package in India as they are offered in countries like america, Uk are astronomical. Money is a big driving force for brain drain Government institutions spend a lot of money on their students but these students as being the brightest of the lot are being attracted to lucrative scholarships outside India. Also it is true that the scope of growth is much more. The governments can also not do anything as they have no rights to stop anyone from doing what he wants |

This is a big problem for not only India but also for the third world or developing countries specially in Asia. Such countries invest a lot from their limited capabilities to raise up the best talents and after wards they went to some developed country for the sake of a better life. The result is these countries cant use the limited talents they have and ultimately fails to improve their status. its an international issue. Countries have to work together for it.

India produces thousands of brilliant students every year, but they think that their future in India is poor and dark in terms of money and high position . So, they emigrate to foreign countries like US , UK , Canada , Australia, etc for their bright futures . These, countries easily satisfy the needs and wants of Indians . They also easily provide good jobs to them instantly. So, India faces brain drain problems .

Brain Drain in India, yes...but now the tide seems to be slowing down...off late people are returning back from abroad... and some seem to be taking up jobs in India
We can't say that always people should only work in their own countries, but it should also not be that all highly qualified move out too.. Its all due to corruption... hope soon there will be someone bright to stop it |
