The Issue of Poverty and Hunger is not fixed by Money alone
I have been reading the replies on this question and we are all able to express what could be the problem. I think this has more to do with the setbacks that are faced from really making a change. The world is not operating on the highest level. Even the rich are faced with major problems that take over their ability to help with these issues. The economies of different countries are not completely stable and this causes problems for most individuals even in the developed countries. There is only a small percentage of the population of each country that is rich. The issue of poverty and hunger is not fixed by money alone. It requires an massive effort. To feed someone everyday will not bring them out of poverty. At this current time the issue of poverty seems almost impossible to fix. There needs to be a hands-on approach to this problem. We need to go into the area and really ask around and examine the situation ourselves. Work with non-profit organizations in the countries and look at the problems that are faced. Toss around ideas and make the necessary steps to even bring the smallest change in the region. This would go a long way. Because change doesn't happen overnight. The steps that have to be taken to get there are numerous. Every thought about the situation and every step to help can increase the chances of positive change in the region and a step closer to dealing with the "actual" problems in the area, not just our own assumptions about what could be the cause. We have to see it for ourselves and then take action. The problem is no one is prepared to give up their lives for someone elses. Who could fund such an effort. People who are well-off can barely get by. How can they take that step and take out a few months of their time without becoming poor themselves from no income in those months taken out. The world is getting more difficult to live in everyday. Sacrifice is needed. Our number one responsibility as humans is to help those in need. We are too selfish to think about that.
