Poor Governments and the Lack of Education in Africa

Having natural resources doesn't make a country "rich". The country have to be able to make use of such natural resources to drive the economy. If not, such natural resources are being put to waste. Not having natural resources doesn't make a country poor as well.

In my opinion, the main reason for Africa being poor may be due to the government and also the lack of education. The government is a very important body. By having an efficient and forward looking government which take care of the people's welfare and providing for the people, it'll have great effect on the country. Policies and decisions are important to the development of a country. So the corrupted government may be a huge factor why Africa is poor.

Education is very important as well. By having an educated population, its workforce would be more efficient and this will help in terms of attracting investors to the country, and thus help to drive the economy. People should also be educated in terms of hygiene practices since a poor hygiene will put the people in a higher risk of virus and disease outbreak(worsen health)

Poor governance is a major problem in Africa. Most of the governments in Africa are very corrupt and greedy. Lack of education is another problem because there are just a few secondary and tertiary education facilities in Africa and the problem is that most graduates don't even get jobs to do after college which makes education a waste of time in Africa. Corruption is killing the continent and without first eliminating corruption, nothing can prosper in Africa

I am happy you mentioned poor governments but the problem is that, we put those criminals there to kill us. They give us candy and we vote for them knowing very well that they are devils.
