Default 419 Internet Scammers and fraudsters in Nigeria

There are 419 internet scammers in every country on this planet. There are fraudsters in America and there are internet scammers in the UK too. There are fraudsters in Asia and there are scammers in Africa but my question is; Why are there so many internet fraudsters in Nigeria? Why are there so many online scammers in Nigeria? In the olden days, internet fraud was considered illegal but these days internet fraud or 419 for short is considered almost legal in certain parts of Nigeria and fraudsters pride themselves for being professional scammers and leaders in the 419 business.
You open your email account and you've won a uk lottery and before they can transfer the money to your bank account, you need to fill a form and provide them with all the necessary information including your bank account and social security number. Once you send them this form, you are doomed.

You open your email or even regular mail and there is this money issue. You are a beneficiary and before your lawyer can transfer the money into your bank account, you need to provide him or her with certain information. Once you do that, you are doomed. You open your mail or email and there is this business transaction involving one Chi hu or one Chi Ha from China or Prakash from India, etc. and that you need to provide certain information. Once you do provide them with all the necessary requirements, you are doomed.

There are several methods the fraudsters use these days so be warned. 419 is a big business in Nigeria today and people work all day and night just to dupe other people online so be warned.

Only a little over 1% of the 419 type scams are connected to Nigeria, according to an investigative report detailed on U.S, tv program 20/20, two years ago. That means nearly 99% of such scams come from other countries. That being the situation, why does Nigeria's name constantly come up in reference to 419 scams. Also, I was recently looking into a business opportunity with a company; the companies website displays a list of countries it will not do business with because of fraud and corruption - Nigeria was not on the list, nor was any other African country. SO, WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON?
