Weight management requires a committed, long-term approach to healthy living and healthy eating.

The body's composition of fat, muscle, bone and other tissues affects weight. Obesity is an excess of total body fat mass.

It is usually measured as a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater. BMI is defined as weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared.

BMI isn't an accurate way to determine if someone is overweight, underweight or healthy. Bodybuilders don't trust body mass index as according to BMI they are all overweight and unhealthy. In reality there's nothing wrong with their weight because the mass comes from muscles, not fats. Muscles weight three times more than fats. Therefore I think BMI is not relevant for some people. They should come up with something more accurate.
