Salmonella typhi and typhoid fever - Typhoid can be prevented
Typhoid is affected by by the basic modes of transmission such as milk, food, water. It can be prevented by taking simple and easy measures:-1: Sewage treatment 2: Pasteurization of milk 3: Proper handling of food 4: Education must be given trough mass media. Do you know any other measures to prevent this disease. Share your opinions here.

Just want to added several more:
1.Avoid eating risky foods and drinks. 2.washing hands thoroughly with soap and water after using the toilet, before handling food, and before eating. 3.Get vaccinated against typhoid fever especially for persons who are going to travel to countries where there is a risk of exposure to Salmonella typhi. Also recommended for persons living in a household with a typhoid fever carrier. |
