For me...the best way to relax and break free from stress is to do meditation.

It has already helped me a lot. I just close my eyes.....and think of being myself in the black dark space.....I start imagining myself to be alone in the wide open space ..where I see the stars blinking brightly far away.....I often do imagine looking at our dear earth too.......and how bluey it looks from far above.....

The countries and the land masses appear so small.....I begin to wonder....why are all people living on it so involved among themselves and worrying soo much...when they are just peanuts in front of the gigantic universe... !!!!

For me, I'll live stress-free by listening to music, playing games and sleeping.

Music is a very important thing in my life. I'll listen to music whenever possible and sometimes when I'm too stress, I'll simply take a break and just focus my mind on the music. Singing along helps too.

Playing game helps to stress-free too. I have tonnes of games on my phone, so when I need a break, I'll just open a game and play in order to keep my mind away from the stressful workload.

And of course sleeping is the most effective. Sleep and wake up and you'll feel the difference.

hello all,
I really love my B vitamins for stress and one called "Holy Basil" too. It is made by a company called New Chapter and everything they make is organic and whole food; very good for us. It works with balancing the cortisol level which supports the adrenal glands.

They are the boss of the stress and glandular system, if the adrenals are strong----the rest will follow too.

Well one of my hobby is to imagine different situations with me as the lead character in democracy....while imagining i feel on top of the world because i mend the things my way in those imaginary situations then i feel sleepy after a long imagination of 1 hour and so the stress gets over....

I have tried several things to try and reduce stress in my own life, but I have found two things that work exceptionally well for me.

The first thing I do when I stress out is to stop and drop everything I am doing, tie on my shoes and go for a long and hard run. Makes me concentrate on my every movement instead of what it is that is bothering me. Afterwards my body feels incredible and I am free of stress.

The other things that works well for me is almost the exact opposite. I like to sit down and meditate, even twenty minutes or so is good enough to clear my mind and leave me feeling ten times better.

I have already spent too much time in my life stressing out and letting it do crazy things to my body, glad to just relax for a change.

Normally, when I'm stressed I'll get a good book and read the day through while listening to mellow songs on the radio. But ever since I got kids, I rarely get stressed out. When stress starts to show when I'm still at work, when I get home all of it will fly away the minute my sons see me and runs to hug me happily. Everything just freezes, all the problems that causes the stress just burst out and again I'm in a state of so much bliss. My kids are my stress-reliever and they're my source of strength also.

I am trying to do everything more calmly, with thought.
Because i know that If i am going to be pressed i will make a mistake some where in my way. So i prefer to do it more slowly and not to press my self.

I just relax myself for sometimes but it is impossible to relax all the time. When ever i find time i relax because continuous work will make me mad. I go on for a walk and have a good Indian Coffee.... Just relax there for 15 - 20 minutes. we can do yoga & meditation but i don't have that much time. but everyday i sit silently in a place for 10 minutes or so .

been new around here ... well i would rather not be sitting at home alone or at some place! it order to get us out of stress is to go on for holidays or just relax your daily life for sometime and chill

when i feel really stressed out i just close my eyes and try to meditate, it really makes me feel light and calm. sometimes i listen to Indian classical music, its really rejuvenating. going out with friends is also one of the options for me as they make me forget all the worries for a while. i also think of all the good times i have had with my family and friends and my boy friend..

Sometimes when I'm really stressed out I just go work out and lift some weights. That really does it for me, because I always tire myself out from the work out. That in mind I get to tired to even think about my problems lol . I just throw myself on the sofa and just watch a nice relaxing movie. Also it really helps if you are sexually active. Just find a girl that you feel good with and do it all night long. You problems will disappear in an instance. Just remember to practice save sex and don't just do it with anyone you find on the street, like some of you freaks do! Nahhh just kidding.

Stress is a hard one especially in the fast paced lifestyles we all lead.

Prolonged stress can cause a massive detrimental effect on your adrenal/health, you'll suffer from impaired immune system which will give reoccurring infections, skin problems, digestive issues, hormonal system malfunctions and much more.

One of the best things you can do as we all know is exercise which is the magic bullet minus diet to health. Proper exercise will relieve stress well.

A good diet will also help, but if you find yourself in a stressful lifestyle then adapatagenic herbs such as ginseng will help you majorly.

whenever i feel stressed out then i usually go out for a walk or some other activity.. usually have cup of coffee or tea..just to relax my mind and for a change as well. people like me follow this because they don't have any other option of fagging n all

I usually just kick back, watch some TV, listen to music, and surf the internet. I try not to do things that would aggravate me even more (like video games, geez those things can frustrate me till no end). Sometimes just grabbing a drink and just looking out the window can help me.

there are a lot things now that causes stress to us like work, finances, politics, etc... life has become so stressful. but what de-stresses me are the smiles and the sound of laughter of my kids. seeing them so happy and problem-free make me feel happy also. they are my light in a dark tunnel, so to speak...

for me, there are hell lot ways for dealing with stress
watch a comedy movie or cartoon or play some game on computer or listen to my favorite music are some of the ways
apart from this,sometimes watching TV or taking a round of the society also helps

Some very simple ways to beat stress
1. Listen to really loud music(It has worked for me.........:P )
2. Take a break and run in the park briskly and then have a fifteen minute nap
3. have something to eat what you really like
4. Talk to your friend with whom you share everything

I don't really get stressed, i have the attention span of a fish and a memory to match. Luckily i can just think of something else and forget about whatever is stressing me out. Of course i have to be careful not to forget about it all together or it might pop up again and be a lot worse.

As i explained above chronic stress can have major problems on health, without even taking the adrenal and other immune system problems into the equation, stress depletes many major nutrients such as the b vitamin group, vitamin c and so on.

I've found one of the best ways to cope with stress and that is adaptagen herbs, now to qualify as an adaptagen herb they must produce zero side effects.

What they do is buffer the body so that it can cope with stress whether the stress is physical(infection/inflammation) or mental it doesn't matter.

The perfect way to get rid of stresses is by doing yoga, which also includes laughing too. When I'm stressed , I go to a nearby garden, sit their alone for a while and again start my daily routine work .

There are many ways to deal with it but the first is that, we must know the source of the stress so we can know how to deal with it .
By relaxing regularly, exercising regularly and eating right will help reduce stress

Hmmm... When Im stressed I try to calm down but if it doesn't help ( most of the times ) I tried to relax with something or just think for other things which are far away from the thing which had stressed me!

well, stress is bad and stress kills. If you want to live longer then the best thing for you to do is to find good ways and means of dealing with stress. Don't overwork yourself. Do what you can and leave the rest. Don't try to go in for another cup of coffee just to keep you awake because you are killing yourself. One important thing to remember is to get plenty supply of fresh air. Do not sit beside your computer all day long. Take a break! and go get some fresh air.

I usually go to the gym when I'm stressed out. I think it really helps out because I'm too tired to even bother myself with bad thoughts. Take a quick shower when I come home, lay on my bed and listen to my Ipod or watch a good movie on DVD. I also read in an article that your body release stresfull hormones when you work out, that's why I go to the gym a lot. It also has a real good effect on my body. :P

If i feel stressed, I'll go to the gym with my good friends..
After I complete my training then have a good sleep..
It's a good way to me..Also I prefer listen to some music to deal with stress...

I enjoy meditation, yoga, pilates, a shopping trip, or a good spinning class. I also like to read, watch television, surf the internet, or take a nap. I enjoy cooking when I am feeling stressed, or a relaxing massage. I also like getting a facial, a manicure and pedicure, or cuddling on the couch when I want to relax and unwind.

For getting rid of stress , I usually go for cinemas and theatres with my friends. Also, I regularly practice Yogas at my home. This helps me to get relaxed and being comfortable.
