Default Playing sports is a great way to stay healthy

Playing sports is a great way to stay healthy, although when you get older this isn't always possible.

But there's some sports like Tennis for instance that can still be played by older folks in my opinion. As long as you can still walk around and have some upper body strength it might be worth learning. Sure you probably can't take the pros on, but you might still be able to have some fun with a friend. So what sports are you currently playing?

Swimming, badminton, jogging and bowling(if it counts) are the sports I play most but still I don't/can't do it regularly now. Busy at work and it's hard to grab a friend to do it together. I can go jogging or swimming alone but it is just too boring doing it alone and I admit that sometimes I am just too lazy.

though busy schedule I'm not able to play any sports i just do yoga and meditation...
but weekly i play cricket, sometime do swimming,and badminton too....

I play many sports, mostly outdoor ones.

The indoor games are only a couple.. table tennis and carroms.

And the main sports i play are Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton.. but most of the time it depends on how much time i get to play for recreation.

I have a good personality and height, so Volleyball is the best sport to be played, where the whole body works out with the jumps and dives. Cricket is not a big workout game but still gets the whole sweat out standing or running for long hours together on the ground.

I practice martial art called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu twice a week. I found that my stamina, endurance and power was increasing more better. And a lot of fun. Because the guys there pretty good to a newbie like me. I think this kind of sport is best for me.

I play a lot of sports but mainly Football (Soccer) and Cricket. I enjoy Football the most as I use to play when I was young watch it and play its a really good way to burn fat playing 90 minutes of sport.

It is starting to get dark and cold here in new york but is still nice weather to play a game of frisbee or foot ball here and there. In a few more weeks it will be to cold and it will start to get dark around 4 in the afternoon so I am just trying to get in my last few weeks of fun before the real winter kicks in.

This type of martial art are actually advantageous not on a single way. They are a special form of increasing your concentration power. Its always known to increase power, concentration, stamina and your entire mental and physical health, takes all of them to the next level.

One of my friends had learned this and he explained how it feels..

I walk around a lot. Sadly, a great majority of young people including myself do not do a lot of physical activity here in the United States. We just sit around and talk about different things or enjoy watching T.V. Heck, we even go to the movies to sit and watch something we are interested in seeing. We are a "sit down" generation, not very active in sports.

Throughout my high school and middle school career, I have always done cross country
It feels horrible when you're running, but as you do it more, it'll feel easier, and nothing beats the nice, loose feeling you get when you're done
Also one of the best sports for your health probably, little sports get you to run that much

I do play a lot of outdoor sports, softball, basketball, and swimming when I was younger, although, it doesn't mean I'm that old now, I'm still in my early 30's.

Its just that there is no time to really engage in sports at the moment since I'm working a eight-hour shift and there's the kids at home. In order to keep fit, I played horsey-horsey with the kids, run around with them, do household chores wherein I could sweat out. If I have an errand to make, I normally just walk to the place and back for a little exercise walk.

I currently run as exercise & play e-sports(competitive video games). I ran in highschool for cross country & track & am still addicted to it. I live in a natural area so there's plenty of places to run. It is going to start snowing down here soon, making it even more beautiful.

I hardly find time to pursue my interest of sport these days...

But whenever I am able to squeeze out a bit of time, I make it a point to play cricket with my son. He is very good at batting and I am very good at bowling and so we compliment each other very well when at it.

We also indulge in some table tennis but only occasionally. And we use our dining table to play the same !!!
