My dad has a felling of pinching in his leg when it goes,as a needle

What can I make to help it?? It just had an operation with get rid of his sciateas. It has the diabetes. Before the operation, it couldn't walk because of the same feeling of pinching in it's whole leg. Now, it still has it,
though him's AFTER the operation. What can we make???
