I've had a back pain few years back. It was really terrible! I can't even get out from the bed on my own. The worst thing, I need to be hooked on traction to relax my muscles.

Anyone who experienced the same?

Well first of you are having back pain in upper region ar lower region. Most of the pain in lower region is because of lifting heavy weights and unregulated diets. The best alternative to fight back pain is yoga as it does not have any side effect.

I experience back pain most of he time in my lower back. My doctor advised me to do lower back exercises such as pelvic rocking. I guess it's effective!

Back pains is caused by muscle strains at your lower back or at the hip section.
IF you don't exercise or even stretch, the muscles at your lower back will be strained because it can't handle the pressure maybe of you sitting down on your office chair for a good number of hours.

If you notice, office chairs now are made to make your lower back in a relaxing position. So it will help not to strain the muscle.

That's horrible experience! Back pain kills me! It really, really kills me! You cannot move, and just stay in one position. Because movement triggers pain. I have it for three days. Imagine me just lying on bed and waiting for the pain to subside.

Several things can cause it, but most of the time it's caused by standing in an improper manner or certain tedious movements. I suggest you consult your doctor though as it might be serious, a chiropractor might be able to help as well.

Wrong sitting habits are major cause of back pain. Sitting in front of computers for hours is another reason.

Apart from sitting, if you had some accident in childhood related to your back then it can cause some problem in your older age.

Riding on bike for hours daily and that too on bad roads, can cause back pain

Over-training can cause back pain. Over-usage of back can cause back pain. Bad posture can too. I heard it's pretty bad. But I rarely hear people who are active in sports get back pain.

The majority of back pain ..I hate to say ..is caused by the lack of inactivity that many have chosen as a lifestyle! Now granted, you can be a superb athlete in great shape and still injure your back....but for most of us..its because we sit on our big butts too much! After suffering a few back injuries...I learned one thing....stretch..exercise..trust me it helps immensely. Oh..and another tip..the muscles in your abdomen...are also a big key in the support of your back...(hint..do a few sit-ups a day)

Not sitting properly is one of the very common reasons why you can feel back pain.. I sit improperly while watching TV and facing computer for few hours.. My parents can really see the difference on my back now.. i can't even get it straightly.. So i suggest you must know how to sit properly or tell your folks and others (if you know) the proper way to sit to prevent back pains.. It may get you on osteoporosis

Wrong posture is a major cause of back pain. Then, there are other factors like having any internal problems like problems with any internal organs, including spinal degeneration due to strains, even a wrong type of bed or chair will also produce unbearable back pain, being overweight, lack of exercises, and inactivity.

First, check your posture. Is it correct? Are you otherwise healthy? Are you exercising. A good massage with just plain oil will relive the symptoms, but you must take medical advice too. Walking can be a good exercise for the back -- the spine benefits a lot from walking and doing light exercises. Good nutrition will definitely help. And being in a positive frame of mind that looks forward to enjoy health will be a big plus. It can begin with a -- smile! Do it always, it will put you in a better mind-frame and also help you regain a better controlled life!

Keep Smiling!

I have a horrible back from a time where I torn my shoulder so the rest of my body must work harder to make up for it being weak and it throws off everything. It is really bad pain. The only thing that makes it feel any better is if I sleep on a flat surface like a floor or a board. I am thinking of going and getting it checked out.

Back pain is the problem that majority of youths face world-over.

The root cause of the same is the inactive life-style that comes along with the white-collar jobs.

People spend practically 10-12 hours in front of the computers and it is this continuous sitting posture that damages your back muscles.

Do stretching exercise regularly and drink lots of water. These two things should hopefully prevent the occurance of this pain too frequently.

I was in a car accident several years ago that cause permanent damage to my back so I get back pain frequently.

My doctor told me some great advice which has lowered the pain significantly you need to strengthen your stomach muscles.

When you have strong stomach muscles it takes some of the load off your back you will notice a change in your posture too this helps relieve the day to day strain on your back.
