Default Do you work out? how often do you work out?

Do any of you work out, and how often do you work out? Are you a part of a gym or do you just work out at home?

I'm a member of L.A. Fitness. I try to go at least twice a week but sometimes I'm just too lazy or I'm too busy to go, which makes me sad because I really need to keep in shape. However I just started a couple months ago so I'm not really sure what to do. I've done basic weight-lifting classes over summer school a couple years ago but other than that, I'm dead meat in the gym So I'm considering getting a personal trainer.

Working out is good especially if you know how to train properly.

Watch personal trainers at these places some are great and know what their doing others don't have a clue and i sometimes wonder how they get their jobs.

Try and give the weight machines a miss and stick to free-weights, machines restrict range of motion and don't strengthen stabilizer muscles.

If your doing weights stick to compound multi-joint movements and be sure to nail the form down before you start upping the weight.

it is always preferable to go to gym or any fitness centre to keep our body fit but as it is said excess of everything is bad so don't workout too much. twice or thrice a week for 2 hours is enough for our body to remain fit

i would like to work out in a gym with a personal trainer to tone my muscles, but i really don't have the time at the moment to work out in a gym. i just try to go jogging once in a while if i have time. the kids have been taking the free time that i have, although i enjoy running after them which is exercise enough too.

I don't workout at a gym but what i do regularly is running 2 km daily to keep fit and after that doing some stretching exercises to relax the body
This helps in keeping fresh all day and that's what i need to be in this stressful life
