Would you give up your car for a bike?
The government says it's doubling spending on cycle safety initiatives to try to persuade parents to abandon the school run in favor of getting their children into the saddle.
Money's being made available for extra cycling proficiency lessons - and ministers want to build more-bike lanes to schools. What would make you give up your car and use a bicycle? Do you live in a "bicycle-friendly" area? When transporting children or shopping, is there a viable alternative to a car? |

Honestly, I would give up my bike for a car but definitely not my car for a bike all in the name of environment. I do use my bike especially in the summer and I take the train and bus sometimes but I love my car and I can't give it up.
